The Atria has been great for my mother. The location is quiet and close to doctors and shopping. The food is good with 2 choices of entree at lunch and dinner. Breakfast is made to order. Exercise sessions are offered Monday-Saturday. The floor plans are the best in the immediate area. Housekeeping is incredible! The business director is very helpful with our account. The new resident services director and the med room supervisor are friendly and very experienced. Caregivers are wonderful! Overall so glad we chose this place.

Was looking for that feeling of security and knowing your loved one is getting everything they need. Atria Carrollton provided that and much more. The staff is enthusiastic. The rooms are well-designed. The food is great. Plenty of activities to keep mom interested. Mom is happy and well cared for! Difficult to imagine a better option.

My sisters and I moved our mom to Atria a few months ago, while she recovers from a fall. It is a clean, well run operation, as I have observed visiting at many times of day and evening. The caring staff makes the difference. CB Director Kwinie Cupidon provides exceptional customer service. Kwinie is always available to address our questions with a smile. She has helped us figure out finances, levels of care, wifi, furniture rental, and the list goes on. Her experience level and the kind and honest manner that she does her job is much appreciated.

Atria is the worst company we have ever dealt with. Our experience was nothing short of awful. They lied from the beginning about what services and assistance they could provide for my mother in law-as soon as she moved in the story changed. Her health was rapidly declining, and we were up front about her needs and what would be changing, but we needed a place quickly and they came recommended. Their nurse came to do the assessment and said she would be a great fit, they could take care of her. So we moved her in. Less than a week later they said they couldn’t give her some meds that were newly prescribed. The story started changing from there, and it became very evident that they weren’t doing what they said. They weren’t giving her the meds that they were supposed to be giving her, and no one in management would take responsibility or even seemed to know or care. We moved her out, and came a week later to get the rest of her things, and they didn’t even know she was gone, despite us already telling them. No communication at all between the staff, that says they will treat you like family but they don’t care at all-as soon as they get the paperwork and your money they are done communicating.

So, in summary: Staff changes, complete lack of communication once the contract is signed, low level of care regarding medications administered, with signed documents saying they would give certain meds and didn't, deceit about what they will provide regarding check ins and meds, safety concerns regarding meds, security, and who is in charge of what. She lived there a week and we had to move her, and they charged us for May even though she was out before the end of April, but they did not return calls or messages regarding the move out, presumably so they could charge us since they never confirmed her move out. Now they are sending us an invoice for June, despite our notice in writing in APRIL that she was out. Do not trust them with your loved ones, ever. Atria corporate, I hope you are paying attention to this. No one deserves for their family members to be treated this way, or for a business to take advantage of people during an already very stressful time of life.
