If I could give this place a negative rating I would. Apart from decrepit conditions each patient has to endure with bathrooms thst have soiled clothing open in trash cans and around bedsides, dried puke buckets stuffed under beds of dependent patients, cockroach infested rooms packed 4 to a room that should only reasonably room 2 MAYBE 3 at most, they also violate patient rights, human rights, and plain human decency. My mother unfortunately had the displeasure of being treated here, where she had multiple hospital admissions due to infections from the high risk conditions they allow their patients to live in. They have had multiple DCF reports along with one of our own where they sent my mother to the hospital with a bloodsugar reading of 29 and dried feces covering her from her knees to her neck. The ER had to cut her clothing off of her. The staff is entirely incompetent, unresponsive, unreliable and dangerously under qualified for having to care for dependent patients. I tried for years to move her into another facility and was left without response for years. WHICH BORDERS PATIENT IMPRISONMENT. We finally had to send DCF, threaten lawsuits, fight to get ahold of administrators. When packing my mother's belongings after saving her from this HELLHOLE, I walked into her room to find a MALE "caregiver" giving an elderly WOMAN a bath, no curtain pulled, no privacy, just leaving her vulnerable and exposed in front of my husband and I. We apologized to her, turned our shoulder to give her as much decency as we could and walked past 4 packed beds to reach my mothers living quarters. I couldn't warn people enough about this place. I wish they shut this place down or actually had management for patient care that is properly overseen. Id love to just blame poor caregivers; but this place as a hole is merely just a place to send your loved ones to die a painful, degrading, horrible death. NEVER SEND YOUR FAMILY HERE.
