Terrible experience at this nursing home. My husband was sent here for rehab after a 1 month stay in the hospital following a heart attack and open heart surgery. Roommate blared his TV day and night and staff kept saying they were talking to him, but nothing ever changed. They apparently have no policy for quiet time at night and we were made to feel like the villains for asking that my husband get sleep and that the TV gets turned off at night. Instead of enforcing quiet time, the gave my husband ear plugs. The TV was so loud, ear plugs did nothing. You can’t recover and do rehab with no sleep. I feel this bordered on abuse. We ended up moving my husband and it was amazing to see how quickly he got better when he actually got some rest at another facility. Nursing staff at the new facility are much more professional and caring. The 5 star Medicare rating is obviously only because their rehab department was excellent.

The staff at Benedictine Living Community in Cold Spring, MN have been absolutely wonderful to work with. Would recommend this facility if you're looking for Assisted Living for your loved ones.

I moved to John Paul Apartments, a part of the Benedictine Living Community in April of this year. I enjoy my apartment so much. It is just right for me! I recently had surgery to remove colon cancer. I was so excited because my Physical Therapy and Visiting nurse were right here on campus! I have met and made many wonderful friends here and our Manager, Darcey is a caring and compassionate woman. I highly recommend this community to any one need of a home.

This place is a great place to have your love one's. I love the staffing ladies they are so much helpful when it comes to changing shift to fit your family needs. There might be rules and regulations but so are other places, the building is very clean more than other nursing home. They have a great launch room for their employees. They are doing their best for their residents and their employees.

My Mom has been going to the outpatient rehab here following an in-patient rehab at another facility. We have found this to be a great experience! Adam is amazing! They are great at challenging the client. Also explaining to the client and the family why they are doing what they are doing. As the child of the client, I've been so impressed!
