Room smelled like straight up URINE when we arrived. My parent wasn’t even in there for 24 hours and already had 2 personal items taken from their room! Staff’s response was “Nobody on this wing is mobile”. OK so did an employee take the stuff then?!?!

There should be such a thing as negative stars to rate this facility. My Mother had ankle surgery and we thought that this place was going to be great. It does not smell like pee because they leave the patients to pee in their beds and just sit on it to cover it up. Mom got 2 bed baths in 4 weeks, they did 1 day out of 7 for wound care. She ended up with cellulitis. The main managing nurse said in front of my husband that she would make sure that the wound care was done each day. The CNA literally said I can not transfer your Mom with a slide board because I don’t feel comfortable and I am the only nurse working in this area. She was bruised all over her arms from being dragged by them to get from a wheelchair to her bed. Another nurse or CNA said that they did not know why they put Mom in long term care when she should have been in a skilled nursing unit. There were a few nurses that were friendly and pleasant but when I visited there was no one around for the most part. They would leave a loud floor drying fan on ALL DAY. RUN don’t walk away from this terrible place!

The lack of care at this facility almost killed my mother. We worked incredibly hard to get her out of there as quickly as possible. I am 100% sure another week and she would have passed.
