We placed my mother at Artis Senior Living in Brick a little over two months ago, and we could not be happier with the care she has received. Making the decision to move a loved one into memory care is incredibly difficult, but from the very beginning, the team at Artis made us feel comfortable and confident that we had made the right choice.<br>Meghan was unbelievable from the moment she met my mother. She took a genuine interest in getting to know her as a person and went out of her way to make the transition as easy and comfortable as possible. That personal attention meant so much to our entire family.<br>From day one, we were welcomed by a warm and loving staff who truly treat the residents with dignity, patience, and respect. They consistently go above and beyond. Carol and Denise always greet us at the front desk with the biggest smile and makes us feel at home every time we visit. The nursing staff have been professional, attentive, and incredibly caring.<br>And a very special thank you to Tara, who has played such a big part in helping my mother-in-law feel loved, comfortable, and safe. Seeing her personality shine through again has been amazing. She is happy, engaged, and genuinely seems to feel at home.<br>For the first time in years, our family has real peace of mind knowing that she is safe, cared for, and surrounded by people who truly care about her. We are beyond grateful that we chose Artis and would highly recommend it to any family facing the difficult decision of finding memory care for someone they love. Stacy Meyers

We are so grateful for the wonderful care my mother is receiving at the Artis. The Caregivers are truly exceptional- they watch over her closely, help her with daily tasks, and treat her more like a friend or family member than simply a resident. Tara, Joanna, Angul, and all of the nurses treat my mom with love and respect. The are so patient and caring and are truly great at what they do.<br><br>The entire community has such a loving and compassionate atmosphere. My mom is enjoying the recreational activities and has made new friends. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, especially during the spring and summer months when residents can enjoy spending time outdoors.<br><br>Knowing mom is safe, happy and so well cared for gives our family tremendous peace of mind. I was very apprehensive about moving her to a memory care facility, but his place has far exceeded all of our expectations. I highly recommend the Artis Senior Living to any family looking for compassionate and attentive memory care for a loved one.

I would have to say Claire and Nada are the best care helpers at Artis. They are very special with my sister and I appreciate their kindness and effort. Having family in this environment is really very emotional to see them gradually fade away. Lisa, the receptionist is also a gem. She is extremely kind, thoughtful and efficient. She is the first face you see and it is helpful to have that smile shine upon you. I have had a long road with my sister in Artis for various reasons and I am very grateful for these 3 employees who make it a bit easier to deal with all of the craziness. These 3 wonderful women should be praised. Artis is very lucky to have them…. My<br>Sister has passed and my journey with her is over I would highly recommend anyone on this journey taking the time to visit all assisted living facilities. There is so much pain along the way watching a loved one fade. Most importantly is finding the right fit. For me it was finding a smaller facility that was comfortable and easy access addressing issues. A better program and certainly a lot more attention. I do not usually post negative reviews but in this case I was terribly disappointed for so many reasons. Take the time and do your homework. It really<br>Does make a difference.

My mother stayed at Artis for a short respite stay, and while the concept of giving residents more freedom to roam sounds wonderful in theory, her experience did not reflect the level of care we were expecting.<br>From the beginning, important care needs that were clearly discussed at intake were not immediately followed. For example, due to incontinence, she was supposed to be checked and changed every two hours, but this did not happen reliably. Additionally, hydration was a major concern as she is a patient with dementia-water was only offered during meals or when family members were present, rather than being provided regularly throughout the day.<br>Sadly, after just two weeks, she had to be sent to the hospital due to dehydration. This was extremely concerning and disappointing, especially given that proper hydration is such a basic and essential part of care.<br>While the facility promotes an appealing philosophy, our experience showed a lack of attention to critical care needs. I would strongly encourage others to ask detailed questions and closely monitor care if considering this facility.
