Memory care is scary but when you walk through the door at the Applegate House you know you are home! The facility is immaculate, the staff is kind, professional, attentive and treats everyone with respect and dignity! Each “apartment “ is clean, up to date and can be decorated by each family to meet the residents needs and to make them feel like they never left home. Safety is always a concern but the staff members are well trained, staffed accordingly and active with the residents community to make sure nothing is missed! The residents days are filled with activities, home made meals and entertainment! Never a dull moment! They encourage interaction and friendship between the residents. Social skills and creating bonds are very important as they continue through their journey. My mom has been a resident for over 8 months. The house manager and staff work directly with me on daily basis to keep me up to date on everything she is doing and offers suggestions and changes to ensure a positive and successful transition through the memory care journey! I would recommend Applegate home to all that are looking for a safe, nurturing, loving place. The home not only supports the residents they support the family! The doors are open to you 24/7 ! Thank you staff, you are amazing!
