When visiting my aunt that was under their care, they would not let me. They stated how the caregiver needs to do their work, I believe family comes before anything and do not appreciate not being able to see her during her last years.

I have been working for New Horizons since December. Not only do I absolutely love my job and clients, but I love working for the company!! My family has been using New Horizon for a couple of years. When I had a brain injury and was sent home bedridden I knew I would use New Horizon. I personally have been with them for nine months and I have the best caregiver in the world. Vanessa came into my home and was just a fill in until they found me a permanent replacement and we hit it off from the start. She takes my personal needs seriously and my family has grown to love her. She helps me with my daily living activities and helps me with keeping my schedule intact and helps me keep my household running all while she reminds me to do my pt exercises at home that I was assigned. I can’t imagine my week without her. She is definitely a God sent to our family and New Horizons.

I wanted to let people know what great place this is! People like Miriam Daugherty who is the greatest care give of all times, how could they miss? Miriam has helped many members of my family through so much. She has been there through healthy times when just a little help was needed. She been there through sicknesses, hospital stays, homecomings, visiting at nursing homes, hospice, and even transitioning to the other side. She has been here for my family helping us as we grieve. She is a light on a dark day. A smile through the sadness. Encouragement when you think you can't go on. We love you Miriam!
