This was written on behalf of mother in law “Do not send your loved ones to this rehab. I was there for two weeks and it was the worst experience of my life. Some or most of the workers do not know how to treat sick people. If I pushed the call button for help to go to the bathroom I would have to wait 30 minutes to an hour every time. When help arrived some would have an attitude as if I were bothering them. They would help you to the bathroom and you would have to wait another 15 minutes to 30 minutes to get off the toilet to go back to the bed. One time a CNA walked in, I told her I had to go to the bathroom. She said “roll over”, I said “what?”, she said “roll over!” You can’t ask the nurses any questions because they do not talk to you. They do what they have to do and leave. I do not know why they are so short staffed and miserable. I have never seen this in my life. I keep thinking about the patients that cannot voice their concerns, I pray for them.”

I am trying to obtain information about a fall involving my father at this facility and have not received a response despite multiple attempts. I am requesting the incident report and care details surrounding the event. I would appreciate a prompt response from administration to address this matter. No Call No email response or nothing! My Father passed away within a week here btw!

Sorry we didn’t read reviews before choosing this facility. The facility is beautiful with lots of activities for the patients,, but there were very very very few staff members we encountered that treated my husband with care..he was there because of recent hip replacement and was unable to get in and out of bed by himself., From day one nothing but problems.,anytime my husband rang for someone to help him it would take 30 minutes or more for someone to come.. a simple request to use the bathroom was a challenge…On more that one occasion while I was visiting I literally had to go looking for someone to come help., Meds not given at proper time, no staff to help you, Beware I hope future patients will be treated better….

I’m sharing this review so others can make informed decisions when choosing care for their loved ones. While there were some positive elements—particularly certain therapy staff and activities—the overall experience raised serious concerns around communication, safety, and care coordination. The patient was my 87-year-old grandmother, admitted for short-term rehabilitation. This facility is located in a well-regarded area and was considered one of the top recommended rehabilitation options outside of the hospital system. However, the level of care did not reflect those expectations. Basic services, including transportation, were inconsistent and unreliable. Communication was a significant issue throughout the stay. It was extremely difficult to reach staff, and follow-up was often lacking. We were left to repeatedly call for updates, with little proactive communication from the care team. There appeared to be a disconnect between departments, including nursing, administration, and social services. There were also concerns with professionalism and responsiveness from certain staff members, including Frances Messina (M-E-S-S-I-N-A), who served in a leadership nursing role during part of the stay. Interactions were often uncooperative, and there was a lack of transparency and support when attempting to discuss care plans or patient needs. A particularly serious concern involved infection control and patient safety. There were multiple instances where staff did not appear to follow proper protective measures, such as wearing gloves when providing care. Subsequently, there was a noticeable spread of COVID-19 within the facility. My grandmother contracted COVID during her stay—on her birthday—and within a short period, multiple individuals in the same hallway and unit were also affected. This raises concerns about adherence to infection prevention protocols. Safety and supervision were also problematic. Patient rooms were not secured, and there were instances where other patients were able to enter rooms freely. In one situation, a staff member unknown to my grandmother entered her room during early morning hours and requested care without prior introduction or clear communication. This caused confusion and distress, particularly given her cognitive condition.

My sister was just recently moved there. The entire staff is friendly, positive & welcoming. The facility is new, clean, bright & cheery. I talked to many of the residents & they stated how happy they are there. So far, I highly recommend it. Pictured is a semi-private room! They are designed so that you feel like you're in a private room. The physical therapy room is awesome. I was unable to take a picture of it because people were getting their therapy. My sister has been there 2 weeks now, and she is extremely happy with the facility and the entire staff.
