This is not something I ever thought we would have to do… but circumstances changed quickly, and we suddenly found ourselves needing to find a new place for Mom.<br><br>We stopped into American House, and that’s when we met Thomas. From the very beginning, he was incredibly helpful, compassionate, and understanding. He worked with me on how we communicated — understanding that texts worked better for me than phone calls while I was trying to manage everything and continue working. He also made sure that everyone else involved in the process communicated in a way that helped keep things moving smoothly.<br><br>Thomas was truly on top of everything. He answered our questions, helped guide us through the process, and even provided resources for programs that could help with Mom’s care costs. During a time that felt overwhelming and emotional, having someone who was responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely willing to help made such a difference.<br><br>Last night, we got the keys to Mom’s next chapter, and we couldn’t be more excited for her to begin this new adventure at American House! ❤️<br><br>A huge thank you to Thomas and Nicole for everything you both have done to help make this possible for Mom. We are so grateful for your kindness, patience, and support throughout this entire process.<br><br>And I also have to mention the wonderful lady at the front desk — I’m so sorry I didn’t catch her name! Every time we walked in, she was smiling, happy, welcoming, and made us feel like we belonged. She genuinely made an impression on us, and honestly, she was one of the reasons we felt so comfortable choosing this location for Mom.<br><br>This whole experience has reminded us that sometimes it’s the people along the way who make an unexpected and difficult chapter a little easier. We are so thankful for the people at American House who helped us get Mom to this next step.<br><br>Here’s to Mom’s next chapter, new adventures, new memories, and hopefully lots of happiness ahead! ❤️🏡✨
