Room was dirty on arrival. 24 urine smell. Residents eat breakfast sitting in their own urine. Most aides are unfriendly and do not want to be there. Unprofessional staff. Unsanitary conditions. Flies and gnats landing on residents and food. Understaffed. Unresponsive and sometimes no response when you press your button for help. Would not send my worst enemy there. I couldn’t get my mom out of there fast enough.

Today I discharged my mom from this facility, for negligence, they dropped my mom off to an appointment they never had permission to take her, never ask nor told me about it they left her there by herself, with her medical history that never should have happened, on top of that, today was cold and raining, my mom had No Coat, No Shoes or Hat on , just a thin shirt and pants I took up there for a therapy with a thin folded sheet on her shoulders, the hospital knew my mom is never with out me and she's always dressed well, so UH called to inform me that she was at the clinic by herself etc. I no longer felt that my mom was safe to be there and I no longer trust the staff to care for her nor make any decisions on her behalf. The facility staff do not care about their patients, they are just a number and money signs and they love to milk the insurance company even when they could discharge the patients sooner they wait until the insurance companies to say they no longer paying for therapy or treatment. Never leave your loved ones unattended or without visiting on a regular basis, be observant, only a few really cared, the other 97% No! May 13, 2026, To this facility, What is done in the dark will always be brought to the light. Consider yourselves caught and exposed. You will not get away with this. To be individuals who have been trained and certified and getting paid, but yet, you all keep making, senseless, mindless, careless, harmful and reckless decisions with the lives of the patients under your care. It's totally unacceptable, unfair and illegal. And when other staff members are witnessing and hearing and seeing patients being mistreated in any way. But You choose to ignore it and You choose to not speak up nor report to the proper authorities, it means that You agree with what is going on which makes You just as guilty as the person who did it. When the Owners and Head Nurses and Administration Staff and Attending Physician have knowledge of such mistreatment and they are the ones who make the final decisions and approvals to do nothing but allow such unthinkable things to happen, All of You are 100% guilty and at fault .

What a fantastic facility. The staff are very nice. Clinical services are very strong and made me feel confident that I chose the right facility ! Administrator and admin staff are always available to help. The dining services food is really good ! The best I have ever seen or tasted in short term rehab.

My wife was there for approximately 2 weeks to rehab a broken hip. Staff was great. Great communication from the care team. We would 100% return if needed.

Fantastic experience. Every employee was super friendly, always smiling, and great with my Mom. From the front desk, to the nurses, to the aids, to the cleaning staff - just a great group of people. Very attentive at all times to the needs of my mom. I realize all companies are challenged being short staffed, however that was not very noticeable at Altercare. My mom had great care and the physical therapy department - very knowledgeable and did an amazing job getting my mom back on her feet and functional. They took their time with her, addressed her needs and were fantastic. I hope the situation never arises where I need to find a rehab center for my mom, but if I do Altercare will be the first call I make.
