Alpine House Senior Skilled Care Living is a great adult foster home with a warm, caring environment. The owner truly cares about her residents and does a great job making sure they are safe, comfortable, and treated with dignity. She pays close attention to the small details, honors each resident’s preferences, and is a strong advocate for the people in her care.<br><br>I also appreciate that Alpine House is able to support residents with more complex care needs while still keeping a personal, home-like feel. You can tell she puts a lot of heart into the care she provides. I would definitely recommend Alpine House to anyone looking for a smaller, more attentive setting for their loved one.

Right away I was taken aback by Joanna’s Adult Family Home! The house itself is beautiful and unique, with a stucco exterior and warm terracotta, curved Spanish-style roof tiles that give it such a welcoming feel. The property has a large, colorful, and well-kept garden with iron gates and balconies- it’s truly stunning! Inside, there is beautiful tile work in the kitchen and bathrooms, along with unique artwork and textiles throughout the home- it is so cozy and feels just like home!<br><br>Joanna is experienced, passionate, and self-assured in how she runs things, while also being genuinely compassionate and attentive to the people she cares for. She provides exceptional care for those with complex medical and cognitive care needs. She is attentive and persistent in identifying the underlying needs of her residents that others may overlook, and she is clearly committed to seeing them thrive.<br><br>The home is well staffed with caregivers who are capable and engaged. There are regular enrichment activities that come into the home- things like music and Tai Chi- an invaluable and engaging aspect of how she runs her home.<br><br>Joana’s home feels like a place where people are not only cared for, but truly seen and supported in a warm, respectful way- like family. As it should be.
