As someone who works in the senior living and healthcare industry, I have high standards when it comes to the facilities and professionals I collaborate with — and Allure of Galesburg consistently meets them. I want to specifically recognize Misty Nelson and Jenny in Social Services. Misty and Jenny are the kind of professionals who make the referral and care coordination process seamless. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in the well-being of the individuals they serve. Working with them has been a pleasure, and their dedication to both patients and community partners is evident in everything they do. I have full confidence recommending this facility to those in need of quality skilled nursing care. Keep up the excellent work!

Beware of this place. The care was just fine, but the problem was their paperwork. My grandmother was there briefly for rehab after a hospitalization in January 2023. She had, at the time, moderate dementia, and is not capable of making care decisions on her own (I'm her HCPOA). Despite this, their case worker, D. Moon in the picture, had her sign paperwork that essentially makes it impossible to sue the company should there be an injury resulting from negligence. I'll let you assume why they'd have a 90 year old woman with dementia sign such a document, instead of her POA... Then, last year, my other grandmother was there for the same reason. Now, this time I don't know who presented paperwork to my uncle (not her POA) to sign but either way, he's not the person to sign things, as this grandmother also has moderate dementia. My uncle is a retired car salesman and knows better than to just sign paperwork, so he told the man that he wasn't the POA. The employee then told him it didn't matter and it's okay to just sign it. My uncle smartly told him he doesn't sign anything without reading it first, and he's not her POA so he won't be signing anyway. This place's business practices are shady at best, illegal at worst. Careful of what you're signing and ALWAYS read it first. And, please, call the state and report them! Attached is the document he had her sign.

It's a nice place to go to if you have no where else to go to get your health Care taken care of but I'm not going to say that it's a good idea for anyone to be treated like a piece of meat

Allure is a dual diagnosis facility for many ages. I have a family member who has been there for almost a year. Smells wonderful, very well taken care of. Wonderful staff! Always joking; from the kitchen all the way to the nurses.
