Our Mother resides at Allegro, Fleming Island. It was not something we had planned but it’s the best thing we did. It’s a community and it offers such wonderful support. The women and men that work here have become friends that we have created bonds with. They help cover so many areas of the transition and your loved ones daily living. Brenda, the activities coordinator really hits a home run with gatherings and events. They always show up with a smile. Go take a tour and see for yourself.

Allegro has just been an awesome place for my parents. We recently lost my mother and they have been fantastic helping my father cope with the loss. Such a caring staff I couldn't ask for more.

If I could leave a negative star I would. Please please please use caution in the memory care. My mom would be locked out of her room sitting in the hall for hours. The only person who was nice to her or cared about her was the person in the kitchen. I was lied to multiple times my mother was abused. Her face looked like she was in a boxing match and was left like that all day. No one called 911 and told me she had a small bruise on her face. When I finally saw her at the end of the she looked like she was punched in the face. I lave pictures but they are too gruesome to post. I had to call 911 and emt could not believe she was like that all day. I did not send her back after her stay in the hospital. Horrible horrible to be lied to and nothing was done. Sheriffs department and dcf were invoked.

For the most part the staff is what's the best. The exception would be the cook and his ordering of food. Our Christmas menu consisted of pri.e rib( as thin as playing card and mostly fat), a stuffed mushroom ( looked like a small cookie), asparagus ( very dry) and a baked potato with sour cream (the best part of the meal)! The roll and cheesecake were also good. Seems like he buys the lesser quality to<br>Keep his budget as low as possible. There are many complaints about the food.

Allegro Senior Living in Fleming Island is such a welcoming and wonderful place to live. Our caregivers love working with the residents and I enjoy volunteering at the fun activities and events they offer. All staff is extremely kind, and Anne and her team are so easy to work with.
