So far, my family has had a very disappointing experience with Always Caring in Kennewick. The office staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. They show a blatant lack of respect for privacy; staff members openly bad-mouth clients, and those remarks have made their way back to patients' family members. This behavior feels like a serious breach of trust and confidentiality. It has left me feeling uncomfortable and unsafe discussing care needs with the office. On the positive side, the caregivers themselves are kind, compassionate, and provide professional, dedicated direct care. Unfortunately, the toxic office culture undermines the overall experience. I cannot recommend this location unless management takes immediate steps to improve how office staff treat clients and protect patient confidentiality. My suggestion: hire office staff who actually care about privacy, and remove the ones who don't.

This review is in regard to the home caregiving and/or ‘respite care’ that my parents received from All Ways Caring Home Care (“AWCHC”), out of the Kennewick, WA-location. My complaint is only against this location, and not toward the others in WA. My complaints stem from AWCHC’s 2 supervisors, referred to as “G” and “A,” who were incredibly disrespectful, unprofessional, immature, as well as inconsistent w/ the services & care that AWCHC was supposed to provide to my parents. From approx. early-Oct. 2024 thru late-Mar. 2025, my parents were clients of AWCHC; and the home-/respite-care they were supposed to receive from the Caregivers (“CGs”) varied from assisting w/ household chores, bathing, cleaning, as well as bathroom-use related needs (i.e. placing a bedpan, removing/replacing adult diapers, bedliners; disposing of human waste, cleaning my parent, etc.), among other tasks. Per my parents’ ‘care plan,’ which was developed & finalized w/ the help of WA-DSHS, & based on my parents’ needs, the agreed-to schedule w/ AWCHC was to be Tues./Thurs., from 11:30am - 1:30pm, where CGs would arrive to their home to assist w/ providing the above-stated home care needs for my disabled parent, while also providing respite for my other parent. During this 6-mo. period, CGs would often arrive late; arrive during days/times OUTSIDE of the agreed-to schedule; many were unexpected, and w/ NO prior notice given; or, CGs would not arrive at all. Also, many of AWCHC’s CGs were not trained in basic, caregiving tasks, such as using a Hoyer lift, assisting w/ bedside transfers, knowing alternative methods for assisting bedridden patients, etc. At one point, supervisor-“G” even asked that we train her CGs on these tasks! Over the months, communication decreased & worsened w/ me & my family on every aspect. Consistency lacked w/ the CGs; the care plan was NOT followed. Moreover, supervisor-“A” admitted that they were trying to hire more CGs, indicating a staffing-issue. What’s more shocking, is that supervisors “G,” and later “A,” rather than help to solve my concerns, instead attempted to shift blame toward my parents, accusing them of, among other things: sleeping in, not responding to CGs when they arrived; would send CGs home early or refused service; and even made absurd claims that my parents treated the CGs in a hostile manner, which couldn’t be further from the truth! In reality, AWCHC sent CGs during days outside of the agreed-to schedule, often w/ no notice; they would send CGs that were ill to their home - and my parents, being elderly & w/ disabilities – only turned CGs away who were SICK so as to avoid getting sick themselves; and b/c my parent wakes up several times a night to assist their disabled-spouse w/ bathroom-needs, he doesn’t get enough sleep, causing him to be exhausted. Since AWCHC would often send CGs to their home during non-scheduled days, what did they expect to happen? Further, despite my many efforts to address these issues, supervisor-“A” made awful insults that were disrespectful, as well as false claims, against my parents. She provided no evidence or clarification for her flawed claims, and she cont’d to shift blame toward my parents, while making other hostile & hateful remarks about them. Also, she only notified me of these supposed complaints against my parents until AFTER I started to raise complaints against them. Again, for the entire 6 mos., we were never notified of any complaints by the CGs against my parents. “A” even went as far as to call my parents “filthy people,” again, not true! Finally, in complaining to their manager, it seemed she was unaware of my issues, & she was also unhelpful. We were never given info about AWCHC’s complaint process, and my issues went unresolved. I’m sure NO ONE would ever tolerate a supervisor of a company to insult or degrade their parents, let alone allowing them to make false, unsupported claims against them; To anyone reading this, beware of AWCHC’s hostile conduct & poor service! Consider other better options for home care and NOT AWCHC-Kennewick.

This is Taryn and Fatma. These people never helped with laundry after the one lady quit. The other lady just wanted her sheet signed, and sometimes brought me meds. It was all about her. I have one leg and a mental health problem. Go to Angel's Healthcare here.
