Always caring does not care about their staff or their clients, this company skirts on border line neglect by failing to address client needs, unwillingness to assist with basic needs as local shopping or appointment needs as well as seeming only in it for the contract and the money they push for staff to do more but won’t allow them to work extra hours to get things done. Not willing to work with staff or client needs. Failing to address hazardous work conditions and living conditions clients have are all reasons to not do business with always caring … the name should be never caring…… I have seen how they treat staff and clients first hand. It is unethical and at this rate they won’t last long as a company .

We hzve had care takers from this agency 2 yrs. The caretakers are xperienced and helpful. The ofgice staff Lori and Ashley are on top of it finding helpers that align with the family's needs. And by the way this is NOT the first agency we had ..but it is the one that now meets our needs!

I think Ashley and Lori are great they really work hard in finding caregivers who are compatible with you. In home care services , I know it is hard to find good workers. I worked in the same kind of business for 17 years. I have been happy with most of the caregivers they sent and most were willing to to work . I would highly recommend this agency.

We were very happy with Always Caring from Decatur IL. up until we decided to move my mother into memory care at Piatt County Nursing home. After we informed Always caring of our intentions the week before we were to move my mom. They cancelled all our future caregivers for that week and did not return our calls. They were paid well and on time for all their previous appointments. But after finding out we were no longer going to need their services after a certain date. They just decided to blow us off completely without reason or warning, leaving myself and my wife to scramble to find anyone who could help. My mother is 93 years old and can't be left alone as she is handicapped and needs assistance with feeding and bathroom activities. What they did to us is what the state of Illinois calls neglect and breach of contract. Either way, they left us with no one to care for my mother when she needed it the most. I would have given them a 5-star rating. But what they did was inexcusable and I highly recommend you look elsewhere for dependable help with your elderly parents’ care needs. We are more than disappointed by the lack of empathy and the disrespect they showed to our family, and especially my poor mother.
