The agency emphasizes patient education and empowerment, providing elderly patients with the tools and support needed to maintain better health while remaining in their home environment.

As a locally owned healthcare provider, Alaga Healthcare operates under a philosophy reflected in its name, a Filipino word meaning to care for someone as if they were family. The organization is committed to treating patients as valued individuals deserving genuine care and attention rather than case statistics.

I just got a letter from Alaga Home Health in Prescott AZ. It was so kind and helpful that I would like to post the entire letter to let others know just let everyone know how great this clinic is. So I am just going to include parts of it: "Recovering at home can feel overwhelming at times, and we are honored to walk alongside you during this season. Our nurses and therapist are committed to delivering, safe, compassionate, clinically excellent care -- right where you feel the most comfortable." "Your health, independence and peace of mind matter deeply to us." "Our goal is continuity of care -- so you and your family never feel alone navigating healthcare decision." Signed John Mata I just got a visit from Evonne who is a nurse with Alaga Healthcare. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks to everyone at Alaga Healthcare

John Matta and is whole crew are great people who really care about their patients as they come out to your home or come to you through a TeleHealth visit. I have started really struggling with all these medications other doctors have put me on that I want to get off of. But they all have withdrawal symptoms so I am really going to need help with this. Dr Matta has agreed to help me do this and I am so grateful to him and his nurses for doing so.

Alaga Healthcare in Prescott is doing it right. They offer a full continuum of care with their clinic, home health, and hospice services, which really makes a difference for patients and families. The team delivers strong clinical outcomes and communicates well across the board—something that’s not always easy to find. John, Tina, and the entire team are fantastic to work with and truly care about the people they serve. Great organization, great people, and a trusted partner in the community.

John Mata and Jenny Mitchell have been so great to work with. Jenny really went above and beyond in helping me get the Xarelto I needed. A 2 week supply from my pharmacy and sent off a larger script to a Canadian Pharmacy which will help greatly with the costs. They were both so kind, patient and professional and I highly recommend them if you need great service and caring for yourself or your loved one.

Everyone has been amazing. The team has been caring, knowledgeable, professional and compassionate. While this can be a trying time for any family, their care has alleviated much of the stress as they walk us through the different phases. A special shout out to Kimmy, Kara and Myra. Our three musketeers. Thank you for everything!
