Front desk operator very rude, needs lesson on phone etiquette. Nurses and staff are decent but have heard complaints of residents being ignored for long periods of time without basic needs being addressed. Overall I know everyone does the best they can but certain aspects should be taken care of to alleviate issues arising from undestaffing, staff shortages, etc.

The agency aide that worked Friday 9/19 who was extremely rough with my grandpa who had multiple fractured ribs and a fractured vertebrae that he just had surgery on 9/15 shouldn’t be allowed back at Woodcrest. My grandpa told her multiple times it hurt the way she was rolling him back and forth, multiple times while cleaning him up BY HERSELF and she told him “Your fine.” The man had surgery and needed two people for this task, you can’t push on his back and put weight on him while trying to clean him up and change him. You don’t aggressively move someone who has fractured ribs and who just had surgery that way. My grandpa said he wanted to leave that place if they were going to treat him that way and he was only there for therapy. A family member of mine walked in right after that incident happened and she said the aide seemed very annoyed and was unprofessional. My grandpa was extremely upset he refused to eat dinner because he was in so much pain after what had happened to him. He said that he was having a good day until that aide came in and did that. He passed away the very next day, 9/20. We will never know why he declined as fast as he did in one day. Maybe being mistreated and multiple fractured ribs it could’ve punctured a lung but how that aide treated him was absolutely uncalled for. The aide was working 9/20 too. A bigger, short, African American, with aqua blue scrub pants. No one deserves to be treated this way. Shame on this aide and this facility for allowing staff members to treat these residents like this. This will be getting reported.

Not a company to work for they aren’t organized at all ! They pick and choose who they wanna be nice to . Favoritism is real even with agency staff ! They don’t help new employees leave them for the wolves .
