My daughter was scheduled for a shift and was treated poorly because of her skin color. She simply asked for a pen in order to do the assignment she came for. This should be addressed and I blame the Administration and the DON. The goal is to care for the residents not to discriminate. There are people out here who really care but because some of us can’t get past our ignorance is really heartbreaking.

There is a great admin within the facility now and I am excited to see what positive changes come along with her in the role. The residents are lucky to have her!
