All the workers here are excellent and so friendly. They loved dad and mom and their dog and treated them all like family.

Birkwood Village is a fantastic place with an amazing staff. Everyone is so friendly, caring, and always willing to help, which really makes a difference. You can tell they genuinely care about the residents and work hard to make it feel like home. There are always fun activities going on, so there’s something for everyone to enjoy. The facilities are clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. Overall, it’s a great community with a positive, welcoming atmosphere.

Birkwood is a fabulous facility. My parents received the best of care while there. The staff is knowledgeable and I feel really care about the residents. As a visitor I also enjoyed visiting and getting to know everyone there..Who knows maybe ill live there one day

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Birkwood Village and the amazing team who runs it. From the very first visit, the director was an absolute blessing—warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive. She took the time to answer all our questions, guide us through the process, and most importantly, help us feel comfortable and confident about moving Mom into her new home. The transition, which we expected to be stressful, turned out to be so much smoother than we imagined thanks to Kaleigh’s patience and expertise. She truly went above and beyond to ensure Mom’s needs were understood and met from day one. The staff are compassionate and attentive, and the environment is safe, welcoming, and filled with kindness. It brings us so much peace knowing Mom is not only cared for but also surrounded by people who treat her with dignity and respect. This facility, and especially its director, has given our family a gift we can never thank them enough for—comfort, trust, and the reassurance that Mom is in the very best hands.

We have been more than happy with the care my mother has received at Birkwood Village of Tama/Toledo. Her apartment is spacious and comfortable, and the staff has been caring and responsive to her needs. I would highly recommend Birkwood to someone who is looking for an assisted living apartment for either themselves or a loved one. We are so thankful to have this option in our community!
