About Abundant Blessings And Care Assisted Living

Abundant Blessings and Care is an assisted living community in Denver, Colorado, operating five family-owned homes: two in south Denver and three in west Centennial. The homes are ranch-style residences of 3,000+ square feet situated on large lots in quiet neighborhoods, with the majority of bedrooms featuring private bathrooms.

The community provides a full range of assisted living services including assistance with personal care, bathing and dressing, medication administration, home-cooked meals, laundry and housekeeping. Staff coordinate physical therapy, occupational therapy, nursing care, and hospice care when needed. All homes are staffed 24/7 with awake caregivers, and an additional caregiver is on-site for 7+ hours daily.

Each home is equipped with state-of-the-art fire detection and sprinkler systems, along with backup generators to ensure power for residents relying on medical devices. The community emphasizes personalized, compassionate care delivered in a home-like environment, with owners present at the homes 5-6 days per week.

The Holly Hills homes in south Denver are conveniently located near the Yale exit of I-25, with access to the Highline Canal and outdoor spaces featuring walking paths, gardens, and sitting areas. The west Centennial locations include a home near Clarkson Park and Arapahoe High School with a covered front porch, another near Franklin Elementary with pedestrian access to the Highline Canal, and the newest, largest home situated off Broadway adjacent to Littleton Village development with an expansive backyard.

My husband died while staying at Abundant Blessings and Care. He choked to death being watched by untrained staff. CDPHE investigated and they were cited for various violations. Since that night they abandoned us and never apologized. Be ware of this facility. They are not a professional or skilled place. My husband did not have to die that night. I cannot believe that after 2 years they are still allowed to operate in Colorado. My husband choked to death as confirmed by an autopsy and they continue to deny any wrong doing. He would still be with us if not for them. We only had him there temporarily while we travelled out of state and they simply were negligent and should not be still in business. Dont send your loved one there. The owner responded blaming the my husband and his visiting friend for his death. This is concerning for many reasons including her not taking responsibility for what happened that night. She did not notify me or 911 immediately. She edited her first response to my review for some reason. She also said the autopsy said he died of natural causes which she has not seen. The autopsy said there was evidence of aspiration (choking) and also mentioned an unexplained subcutaneous hemorrhage of the left frontal scalp. CDPHE cited them for several violations and did not disprove any of the allegations. Assisted Living Homes do not have adequate oversight of regulations, training, use of certified staff or accountability. Abundant Blessings and Care is an example of a place to avoid if you care about your loved one. I will be working more on this so the same thing - a death and lack of care does not happen to someone else. Russel Fry died at Abundant Blessings and Care because no one was trained to respond to him choking. They did not call 911 first delaying any assistance for him. He was all alone on the floor and he died. Do not trust your loved one to Abundant Blessings and Care.

My mom spent her last 6 months with Abundant Blessing and Care. I can not thank them enough for the care my mom received! Claire, Art, Norie, and the rest of the Eastman house treated my mom and me like family. They had weekly lunch outings, and daily exercise, and created a community among the residents. Carol runs a top-notch business, I highly recommend them! Thank you, ABC!

I was fortunate to be referred to Abundant Care and Blessings Assisted Group Home a few months ago when I decided to look for increased care for my Mother. I wanted a smaller, home like atmosphere, with better staff to resident ratio, versus the larger “Assisted Living” facility that my Father had. We could not have been happier with what we experienced here! The owner, Carol, was wonderful at every point in our journey, from the first day, to the last! Claire, the nurse on staff, was as kind, concerned and thoughtful as she could be! I cannot stress the superb, compassionate, empathetic treatment that the Care Team exhibited, in particular Noel and Lalaine! They were the nucleus of what I had hoped for, for my Mothers care. My eternal thanks to this small size, large heart facility!

My grandmother spent the last 4 months with Abundant Blessings before she passed. Carol, the owner, arranged the quality hospice care team she works with for additional support for grandma. My mother and/or I were there every day visiting and experienced excellent care every single visit! (We've had horrible experiences at other rehabs and home care places). Grandma was finally comfortable and happy with no complaints. I am forever grateful to the staff, hospice team, and Carol. They all went above and beyond with compassion, safety and care. My family is very fortunate, we highly recommend Abundant Blessings for your loved one.

Abundant Blessings and Care provided the absolute best care for my mother. After a small stroke, and many other health issues, we moved my mom from Independent Living to ABC. It was the best move for my mom and the staff at ABC Marion Street was fantastic! Mom received great care and the staff was able to keep her engaged, comfortable and entertained. Thank you ABC!!
