Several years ago, we moved our sister into independent living at this facility. After a year or so she had a mental breakdown and they required us to move her out immediately. After a few days in a mental institution, she was released after a diagnosis of dementia. We attempted to move, her into their memory care unit, but they refused to accept her. Ever since she’s been billed for an additional month (required for notice to move out) of rental for the independent living after they forced her to move out. I called the company a few times to explain the situation to no avail. My sister is in a memory care unit in Abbeville, Louisiana and I still receive bills from the Vincent to pay for an additional month and the independent living.

Good Morning , I just wanted to share a very pleasant experience at the VINCENT SENIOR LIVING in Lafayette LA. We drove in from Alexandria to lunch with my great aunt a few weeks ago. As we drove up to the facility the view of the grounds were so beautiful with the all colorful flowers and greenery .The dining room so neat and clean with the nicest flower arrangements on the table . The staff was very energetic and attentive and the food was excellent . My auntie is very pleased with her current living arrangements . We are looking forward to our next outing with her really soon . Thanks to the VINCENT STAFF . See ya next time .

Our mother just moved into The Vincent on the assisted living side, and we could not be happier with the accommodations and the warm welcome from the staff. Frankie assisted us and has been so helpful and compassionate with our mom and making sure she's settling in okay. The nurses and workers have been so kind and are very caring which is what we all want for any parent or loved one living in a home. The rooms here are beautiful and have very nice size bathrooms and closets and are accommodating for anyone in a wheelchair. The restaurant style dining is a plus and the chef is AMAZING along with the workers that bring you your food and drinks. There's even a separate dining room you can reserve for free for your family to come and join you for a meal. There's also a movie theatre room with a popcorn machine where you can go and watch an oldie but goodie! If your loved one needs physical therapy, don’t fret because they have it available on site and the exercise equipment is available to everyone. The decor is absolutely gorgeous throughout the home. There are plenty of areas for you to go visit with your loved ones. There's even a pool table and games for you and your family to enjoy. The library has books and puzzles for all to enjoy as well. The home has a couple of buses for trips to the grocery store or restaurants and let's not forget about the Cadillac that has a chauffeur that will drive your loved one to an appointment. That's very helpful with our mom since me and my brothers all work. This place is where you want to see your loved ones living their best life for sure!

Although the move-in date for the independent living apartments was way delayed, it was certainly worth the wait! My 86 year old mom moved in three weeks ago and she loves living there already. The entire facility is incredible, her apartment is very nice, the food is good and the activities are non-stop! The staff seems friendly and knows everybody by first name. She has made lots of new friends and the residents seem upbeat and happy. I am comfortable with where she is and with her safety. This type facility is long overdue for Lafayette and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable and fun place for senior independent living.
