“Our experience was excellent. The facilities are extensive and staff is friendly and positive. We especially liked the transition to greater care on the same campus. We’re in independent 55+ right now but would look forward to Maravilla when we need more help. By the way, the dining room food is excellent.”

“My parents lived here from 2006 until each of them passed away. We used to joke with them that it is like a landlocked cruise ship. Casa took great care of them for many years and the staff treated them (and us) like family. I can't say enough good things about it.”

About these figures

Computed on October 22, 2026 from the 24 communities listed in Santa Barbara, 405 public family reviews on Google, Yelp and MyLivingChoice, state licensing records and, for nursing homes, CMS Care Compare. The best-rated list ranks communities by average family rating weighted by how many families have reviewed each one, so a 4.9 from three reviews does not outrank a 4.7 from two hundred. No community pays to appear in the best-rated list or in these figures; sponsored and partner listings in the directory results are marked as such. Figures refresh as listings and reviews change.
