My mom was recently transferred to Your Life Memory Care. We could not be more pleased with our experience so far. The staff is very welcoming and attentive. I was put at ease and knew immediately my mom would be well taken care of. The environment is very warm and inviting. I am also happy with the communication between staff and family.

The facility is beautiful when you walk into the lobby but, once you get past those double doors, it’s roaches, crumbs and trash from meals and it smells like pure urine and feces. I understand that there are multiple residents that may experience some incontinence but the smell has gotten out of control and it makes it hard to actually sit and enjoy time with loved ones.<br>The caregivers are extremely overworked and severely underpaid and it’s very sad because they are the ones keeping this facility running, not the nurses, not the unfriendly director, Kimber, etc, those caregivers are doing their thing and deserve more respect and pay than they get. I noticed during my visit that multiple female caregivers complained about a male resident sexually harassing them and nothing being done about it but they would be forced to continue to give care to this resident, instead of sending a man in to do it. This is negligence and disrespectful. This place does not protect their employees, they just want them to come work for them, do what they say & shut up.<br><br>I can see this place having a lawsuit on their hands very soon.

It's always a challenge when you reach the point that you can no longer take care of a loved one. Fortunately there are several excellent facilities for long-term care in Tallahassee, but one really stood out to us. YourLife is top quality with every amenity you could want. But what makes YourLife really special are its people. It's a process to move but it was made much easier with the assistance of Lacey Brown, Community Relations Manager. She walked us through everything and arranged for resources we didn't even know were available. The entire staff are outstanding and we know our loved one is in good, loving hands. Thank you YourLife.

We walked into YourLife with many questions, concerns, and what ifs for our family member who needed a place to call home. The office director, Lacey Brown, gave a detailed tour, introduced us to staff, and had a genuine response and understanding to every question we threw at her. The property is clean, and the rooms & bathrooms are spacious. The large courtyard is beautifully manicured with plants, a water feature, and has stations with fresh produce. There’s plenty of rocking chairs under the shaded patio for residents to enjoy the view and some fresh air. The list of activities and outings are plentiful and well thought out. Needless to say, we are thankful our loved one has a safe, happy, and beautiful place to start this next chapter. Give YourLife a call, you won’t regret it. Thank you, Lacey & YourLife staff!
