My mother-in-law stayed here for a month after a fall. Her insurance cut her off at the rehab facility, but she just wasn’t ready to be home by herself yet. We needed to find somewhere safe for her to finish healing, and the second I walked in for a tour, I had a good feeling. It feels way more like a real home than a nursing home.<br>The staff was so friendly, and the whole place was clean and cozy. Visiting her here was night and day compared to the rehab facility.<br>She finally went home yesterday, and the entire car ride home she kept saying how grateful she was that we found this place and how much she actually enjoyed her time here. Huge thank you to everyone who took such great care of her and helped get her back home safely!

My Mother has been at The Young Home For The Elderly for 18 months and have had a very good experience with the staff and care for her. I recommend The Young Home For The Elderly!

My mother is in hospice at this facility and the staff has been nothing short of FANTASTIC. They are friendly, attentive, and compassionate.<br>Mom is the happiest she has been in a long time and it is due, in large part, to Jessica and the staff!<br><br>They are the best and they care for your loved ones like they are their loved ones.

Eileen Siehda<br><br>When our mother passed away we moved our mentally handicapped brother to Young Home for the Elderly because he was unable to care for himself. We are very happy that we did so for many reasons.<br>Our brother lived there for 11 years and received great care. He told us many times that he liked living there and that the people were very nice.<br><br>The residents ate their meals together at the dining room tables and were encouraged to spend their days together in the large living area as a family, rather than isolating in their bedrooms. This created a family living environment for them. Young home had planned activities such as arts and crafts, bingo and movie nights for whoever wanted to join in. The owners also hosted parties for each holiday and families were invited to attend. The facility was always clean and its residents were showered on a regular basis.<br><br>Young home was a wonderful second family for our brother and we were welcome to visit him any time. When he became very ill and his death was imminent, the young home staff was very loving and attentive and helped the hospice staff to make him very comfortable. They told us several times how much they loved our brother and how they would miss him.<br><br>We are very grateful for the loving care that the owners and staff gave our precious brother for many years. We highly recommend Young Home for your loved ones care as well.

My mom spent the last four months of her life at Young Home for the Elderly, and she was truly happy there. The staff didn’t just care for her — they treated her like family. She was surrounded by love, warmth, and a community that made her feel at home. Knowing she passed in a place where she was genuinely cared for brings me so much comfort. I will always be grateful to everyone there for giving her joy, dignity, and peace in her final days.
