My mother-in-law was a resident in the memory care unit for a little over a year. It was a difficult decision for us to realize we did not have the skills to give her the care she needed. Jennifer was so kind to us, and we instantly felt the warmth and homelike atmosphere. Our minds and hearts were at ease in placing our loved one there. Including Jennifer, all of the staff - Sharon, Jeff, Amber and all of the caregivers were so compassionate, patient and loving with all of the residents. There is such a sense of family. The facility is well maintained, nestled in a quiet, picturesque setting. Our mom’s room was always clean and she was very well cared for. We had such peace of mind, knowing Mom was in good hands. Jeff is awesome with all of his planned activities for the residents - always something fun going on! In her final days, Mom received excellent care, compassion -and love. The staff always was very welcoming, helpful and kind to our family, too! Yorkshire Stonebridge Manor is a wonderful gem among senior care facilities here in Grand Rapids. We highly recommend it!
