This is a very clean and friendly facility. They make you feel at home. I really enjoyed my stay and would return if needed. What I noticed was everyone works as a team, no matter the rank. They have very dedicated and compassionate hard workers. The therapy department is amazing always encouraging whether in the gym or not. All my visitors noticed that it didn't have that "nursing home" smell and it was very clean. The laundry on site is amazing. They really cater to your needs by placing name labels on your washable items and will hang your clothes up or if you can't reach them, they will fold and place in your drawers. The Activity Department tries to get as many residents involved as they can. They do nails which makes the ladies feel beautiful. The ladies are walking around admiring the new colors. So cute! They take out some residents for picnics and store outings and will go clothing shopping for them. I loved how they went room to room with a newsletter and drop off means to everyone. They're the sweetest ladies you would ever meet. At mealtime they encourage everyone to eat in the dining room whether they can ambulate or not. This also includes residents who can't feed themselves.♥️ The security of the facility is top tier! No one is getting out or coming in without keypad entry. Loved this so much! When I get of age this is the facility I would choose to live out the rest of my life.

My brother went in for wound care and physical therapy ONLY he left to the grave!! They failed to care for his wound correctly by letting it become infected n kept letting get worse until he became sepsis by it , NEVER gave him physical therapy, he developed bed sores, some nurses would complain about having to change him to the point he didn’t even want to tell them he needed changed, aug 3 he told them he couldn’t breathe good n chest was hurting , they blew him off for over an hr, it was told to us by a staff member that he was constantly punching the call button n a charge nurse named BRENDA told him to SHUT UP n stop pressing the button tht she was trying to get ahold of the doctor, he FINALLY made it to er were he had already became unresponsive, they seen he became sepsis and shot hit to Austin by helicopter, 2 a day later they find a huge ulcer on his intestine with a bleeding blood vessel, another day later saw he has had a massive stroke n caused major swelling in his brain which eventually lead to his death,we were told tht wherever he had been shouldve been aware of what was going on with him , NEGLIGENCE was really a problem here! He was already PARALYSED on his left side by the time they gt him to er from this nursing home he was having tht stroke in the nursing home where they NEGLECTED to take him to er until they spoke with his dr. for if someone says they cant breathe THATS CHRONIC ATTENTION he shouldve been taking STRAIGHT to er THEN his dr could’ve been notified!!! PURE NEGLIGENCE

I would like to recognize Shannon Henry Yoakum nursing and rehab dietary manager. She has over 20 years of dedication to the residents. She works hard to provide quality nutrition for the residents. She is dedicated to trying to keep the residents happy with their meal service. I have learned a lot about dietary from her dedication to her dietary crew
