I was very displeased w the entire experience. My father in law was there for only 5 days. From the beginning we were told he could get a haircut. Not once did she say it would cost because we would have given them the amount. He kept calling us up to 17 times a day bc he was confused. Do they not know how to handle Alzheimer’s patients? After getting his blister pack of meds, meds were NOT given as prescribed. The patients I encountered all cried to me saying they wanted to leave. Claiming lack of staff and care. This is SHAMEFUL! And the weekend Charge Nurse is an incompetent joke. I have been in the medical field and she had no clue to the questions I asked. Much less would she take the responsibility to answer the phone. And why are they allowing an Alzheimer patient to work themselves up and give them unlimited access to the phone INSTEAD of handling the patient. All they did was accelerate the situation. I will make sure that I never allow any I know to go there. They should take the time to visit Good Shepherd. The staff and environment is upbeat. Dad really love it there.

Johnnie Simmons and the entire staff went way above and beyond for my wife. I was amazed at the things they did for her and me. I highly recommend this center to anyone and everyone who needs this type of service.

Gosh oh my I could not believe the care my mom in the week she was there. I know my mom is stubborn hard to handle and rude but when you work in a nursing home you know old people usually are these things. My mother was sent here to help her regain muscle and weight. The first few days I figure it’s my mom being dramatic but I was wrong she called me at noonish saying she has a bloody noise and no one helping here then she called us again at 4ish saying they just left her with the blood on her herself and sheets and walk away kinda then I started going there around 7ish she called saying she pressure her help button and no one has came I got there at 7:30pm and my mom room light for help was on I stood there for 30 mins or so no one ever came in I walk out found one person in the whole area of 3 halls and asked him he said “I don’t know that not my hall she’s not my patient so that’s not my problem. Find Kimmy. (Also I never saw her but my mom did say she came in around 10:45 that night to check on her) Blonde girl. I walked up one and down one hall no one not one worker then I walked all down the hall my mom on not one worker I did however find sheet and made her bed with new ones not cover in blood. But no kimmy so I looked at the guy again only person we say in now 45 mins in a nursing home!!!!! And said so is kimmy a ghost as your the only employee I see so can you do the job and help my mother. Then the next day I I get a call from my mom who can’t walk on her own saying they are searching her room as they say she stole someone stuff stuff I just bought her and gave her the night before! Honestly under staff and people don’t care

My precious mother received excellent care during her stay. Her nurses cared for her as though she was their own mother. Nurses, Marla, Annetta, Christine and Robin were compassionate and caring. Highly recommend. The Brickell Family

Each Nurse and other staff of Woodland Hills took a personal interest with our loved one ensuring his comfort during his stay. Janette, Karen, Ms Betty, Bertha and so many more made sure our loved one was in a loving nurturing environment. Thank you so much for all you did. The Earl Bowman Family
