Witherspoon Senior Apartments

Witherspoon Senior Apartments is an affordable housing community for low-income seniors ages 62 and older, located in Southwest Philadelphia on HumanGood's 58th Street Campus. The community offers 60 one-bedroom apartments designed with accessibility and comfort in mind.

Each apartment features a full kitchen with garbage disposal and stainless steel appliances including smart stoves, along with energy-efficient central heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems. The campus also includes a medical screening room for visiting doctors and health care workers, supporting residents' health care needs on site.

The broader 58th Street Campus comprises multiple senior housing buildings, including the Ann Thomas and Mary Field Senior Apartments I and II, creating an integrated community environment for older adults.

Residents are permitted to keep common household pets as well as service or assistance animals in their apartments, provided they inform management. Pet rules are maintained to ensure a safe and sanitary living environment, though assistance animals are exempt from these rules. Smoking is prohibited anywhere on the premises.
