I never had any issue with the emergency room or nurses at all until late last year. My mama got really sick and early died from an allergic reaction to lidocaine which is in her chart and they gave it to her in an IV drip and still dealing with those issues today. They are so negligent and don't tell you anything.

Was lied to by discharge nurse and also transferred to another hospital i didn't want to go to. Was told that a family member was going to pay for a Uber to get back there to my vehicle when discharged. When came time for discharge, was told was no record of that, that I was dropped off there and my vehicle wasn't there. Family member was never contacted. They wouldn't discharge back there, put me out on the street in the rain and stormy weather to catch bus to local homeless shelter against my will. Was a horrible place and made my condition worse not including the emotional pain and trauma. Luckily the man at shelter brought me back to my vehicle. No way to treat a severely depressed emotional distressed, autoimmune encephalitis patient at all!!

It hasn't gotten better. Dr. Hunter,Dr. MCarthur and Dr. Pickus are all out standing doctors. There are two that need to go back to school out of state to learn that the type of migraines I have are emergency when they get so far in pain. I already have PTSD because of doctors and do not need it to be triggered like it was today. And still need emergency care. Praying Dr. Hunter get better real quick cause he and I need to have a talk. If I could I would give today's er a -10 Up until today I would give Winston ER a solid 5 after today and the I don't give a whoopee do a BP of 200 over 138 on check out. Took it again when I got to my car. I still think the world of Dr. Gentry, I will not be using the er without Dr. Hunter being the one there. Mu BP has not come up er 200/130 in fact it rose more than that.but I will die before I get transported there . Update: I went in with a severe chemical reaction. All I got was a epi which I could have administered before I went and 3 prescriptions I can NOT use or I would have a worse reaction Another bad day at the er. Something needs to be done about 1 particular er doctor. Nothing gets done waste of time and money

We have used the ER at Winston Medical twice now and both times have been a great experience. No one ever wants an emergency situation but I’m thankful we even have a local hospital. Dr McArthur and every one of the nurses, labs, CT tech, reception…everyone was great. They all treated us with kindness and Dr. McArthur explained everything in great detail. No wait time and labs and results were very quick.
