The staff that took care of my mom when she was at rehab were wonderful. The ladies at rehab that pushed her limits to help her to be able to walk and move again were amazing. The nurses and aides on Wing 1 were awesome. 👏

Windsor Calallen is a senior living community in Corpus Christi, Texas offering Skilled Nursing / Long Term Care. Amenities include Restaurant style Dining Room, Gathering / Activity Spaces and Social Activities. Families rate it 3.5 out of 5 across 59 reviews.
Windsor Calallen is a skilled nursing and long-term care facility in Corpus Christi, Texas, with a licensed capacity of 120 residents. The community offers rehabilitation services and maintains an Alzheimer's unit alongside its primary nursing care program.
Families consistently recognize individual staff members for compassionate care, particularly therapy teams, select CNAs, and nurses who go above and beyond in wound care and hospice transitions. One family wrote that a staff member "was always there" showing genuine concern for their daughter. Dietary and admissions staff also receive praise for their support and professionalism. However, reviews reflect significant inconsistency in care quality, with serious concerns about nighttime staffing ratios, medication errors, response times to call lights, and gaps in incident reporting and follow-up after falls.
The facility holds a 3.5-star rating across 59 Google reviews. While some families describe excellent rehabilitation outcomes and deeply caring individual providers, others report preventable incidents and inadequate monitoring that raise safety questions. Prospective residents and families should weigh the positive experiences against documented concerns about systemic oversight and staffing adequacy.

I had the privilege of meeting Miss Brenda S She was very nice today 10 out of 10 customer service. She was actually polite in my opinion in this industry and in nursing care industry it’s kind of hard because people don’t understand that when you’re overstimulated and overwhelmed you just need somebody to be patient and she was 10 out of 10 she answered all my questions and if I had any concerns, she told me to call back and she would help me. I would give her a Daisy star recommendation.
