Word of advice if your love one is NOT from Holland DO NOT put your love ones here. The residents are NOT friendly to any other nationality, they will make your love ones time here miserable. Do not make the mistake that our family did. My grandma would cry because no one would talk to her, the residents would not let her join them in their dining room for meals or join in any activities, she ate alone in her room. The staff were the only ones kind to her. We placed her in Cedar Crest and she is very much happy there!!

A Home Away From Home My husband wasinitially apprehensive about transitioning his parents to a new living environment. However, Windermere exceeded all our expectations. The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with warm smiles and a sense of tranquility. The staff's attentiveness and genuine care for his parents was immediately apparent. The beautiful surroundings, delicious meals (including the amazing menus!) and engaging activities created a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere that made my in-laws feel right at home. We were particularly impressed by the Christian environment, which provided a comforting and familiar setting for our parents. This was a major factor in their decision as to where to go. The staff's dedication to their faith and well-being was evident in every interaction. The accessible chapel was a wonderful addition, offering a peaceful space for reflection and prayer. This transition was undoubtedly a difficult one for them, but. the supportive and compassionate care they receive at Windermere has brought them immense peace and joy. So far, we are incredibly grateful for the positive impact Windermere has had on their lives. Thank you so much to the entire staff and for the beautiful home you have given them.

I just had the pleasure of touring Windmere. It is a cheerful place which is beautifully designed and was recently updated. I was surprised at how spacious it was inside! The public spaces, especially the lobby area with fireplace, are aesthetically pleasing. The nicely appointed rooms, dining area, and library had a very home-like feel. Soothing colors were everywhere. The staff is very pleasant, kind, compassionate and accommodating. I would consider it for aging loved ones. I hope to return soon to try the food and attend a special event!
