Families consistently highlight the attentiveness and genuine care of the staff across reviews. Multiple residents developed close relationships with caregivers, and families noted that staff members, including management, go beyond standard duties: one director sat with a resident through the night, and kitchen staff proactively seek input on meals. The facility maintains cleanliness and offers daily activities, an on-site salon, and structured engagement that encourages residents to participate rather than isolate. Food quality stands out as a particular strength in resident experiences.
One family wrote, "the staff is incredibly caring and attentive, always going above and beyond." The community carries a 4.6 out of 5 Google rating across 61 reviews. However, one low rating raised concerns about HIPAA compliance, medication documentation, and care planning communication, issues that prospective families may want to directly address during inquiry.

Although my mom’s time at Windchime was relatively short, I was so impressed by management and the staff. Jenn and Heather were awesome to work with and demonstrated genuine care for residents and family members. My mom did not want to go into an ALF, but ended up developing close relationships with the support staff and opened up to them in ways she did not with her own family. Although their jobs are incredibly challenging, they gave mom individual attention and were a constant positive source of encouragement to me and my mom. I think my mom wore out the call pendant batteries so many times over six months that I lost count but the staff was always responsive. I would walk in after mom pressed the button and asked her what she needed and mom said nothing really….she just wanted to find out what am was going on today and chat it up with the staff :-). I told mom she needed to stop wearing out the call pendant because if she ever did have an emergency they might not respond quickly, but the staff was always there to lend a listening ear, cheer her up or provide needed assistance. I would call my mom “high maintenance” and Windchime more than stepped up to the plate to take care of her during her final months. Also, management took the time to provide needed counsel and hold my hand through the process. I had prayed for good counsel and Windchime provided just that. I think I have a friend for life in Heather as she was always available to listen and provided good counsel. Finally I would say you should have no concerns about putting your faith and confidence in Windchime in meeting the needs of a loved one. It’s like a family there and the care is evident. They have a tough job. I saw staff take the time to be delicate in helping many people who were not having their best day if you know what I mean. If the staff was frustrated, I didn’t see it. During mom’s last days, the staff rallied around my mom and were just awesome. If I had it to do all over again, I don’t know that I could have made a better choice than Windchime.

My experience with Windchime at The Village has been nothing short of exceptional. The level of care provided is truly outstanding — compassionate, attentive, and thoughtfully tailored to each resident’s individual needs. From day one, it was clear that this community goes above and beyond to ensure residents feel safe, valued, and genuinely cared for. What truly sets Windchime apart is the close family feel shared by the entire team. There is a warmth, unity, and sense of purpose among the staff that you can immediately feel. They don’t just work there — they truly care, and that makes all the difference. A heartfelt thank you to Jennifer, the Executive Director, whose compassion is evident in everything she does. Her leadership, kindness, and genuine heart for residents and families create the foundation for the incredible culture within the community. To Amanda, the Wellness Director, thank you for your unwavering commitment to residents’ health and well-being. Your attentiveness and dedication provide such comfort and confidence to families. A special shout-out to Heather, the Resident Liaison, for always going above and beyond. Your communication, support, and sincere care make families feel heard and supported every step of the way. And thank you to Cassie, the Activity Director, for bringing joy and meaningful engagement to the residents each and every day. The creativity, energy, and thoughtfulness you pour into activities truly enhance the quality of life for everyone there. If you’re looking for a community where your loved one will be treated like family and cared for with outstanding compassion, Windchime at The Village is an absolute blessing. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

My mother was at Windchime for three years up until a couple of weeks ago and did not have a problem with any of her valuables missing. This place is wonderful and treated my mother as their own family. Such a godsend when we found this place.

Dad’s condition during the stay wasn’t the most disturbing part. The “check-out” process was made terribly difficult when the director??Jennifer wouldn’t even return calls so the family could make arrangements for removal of belongings after passing. Don’t expect cooperation here at Windchime - Go elsewhere for decency and compassion!
