I cannot say enough good things about the staff and leadership at The Brixton. When my mom needed a rehab facility on very short notice one Friday, they stepped in and made it happen. They worked quickly to secure medical clearance and were incredibly understanding and flexible with payment requirements while we navigated a difficult and stressful healthcare situation.

Their compassion and willingness to help took a tremendous amount of pressure off our family during a challenging time, and we are so grateful for that support.

Once my mom arrived, she absolutely loved being there. In fact, when it came time to transition to a long-term care facility, she didn’t want to leave! That speaks volumes about the quality of care, the environment, and the people who work there.

Thank you to everyone at The Brixton who made this possible and who took such wonderful care of my mom. We will always appreciate your kindness, professionalism, and dedication.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If I could give more than five stars, I would.

Our family’s experience with Brixton has been outstanding. After a very difficult situation at another rehabilitation facility, we needed help quickly, and Brixton stepped in when we needed them most.

A special thank you goes to Laura Thielepape. From the moment we contacted her, she worked tirelessly through the weekend to help coordinate my mother Vera Briscoe’s transfer to Brixton. Her communication was exceptional, she kept us informed every step of the way, and she truly went above and beyond to make sure my mother received the care she needed. What could have been a stressful and overwhelming process became manageable because of Laura’s dedication, compassion, and professionalism.

The nursing staff has been kind, attentive, and caring. The therapists have been encouraging, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping my mother regain strength and independence. Every staff member we have encountered has treated her with dignity, respect, and compassion. The doctors are very accessible, listen and respond to our mother’s care.

Finding quality care for a loved one can be one of the most difficult decisions a family makes. Brixton has given us peace of mind and confidence that my mother is receiving excellent care.

Thank you to Laura and the entire Brixton team for everything you do. You have made a tremendous difference in our family’s life.
Horrible facility don’t bring your loved ones here
My mom has been living at the Brixton at Horseshoe Bay for 2.5 years and it has been a great experience. We are so happy with, and grateful, for the wonderful care provided by her nurses, nurse aides, administrators, therapists, nutritionist...everyone on the staff! Mom has stayed at several other facilities in the past, and The Brixton at Horseshoe Bay is hands down the best!! They go all out for holidays, can provide safe transportation to appointments, and feed her plenty good. The facility is modern yet still cozy, light, bright, clean, and just has a happy and healthy vibe to it, especially compared to most of the skilled nursing and long term care facilities we have seen. Her room is large, with a big picture window, and a nice large private bathroom with a roll in shower. The Administrators are top notch, really care about their residents, and go above and beyond for everyone, including resident's families. We are always welcomed, with smiles, any time of day, and any questions and concerns are addressed promptly and respectfully. Mom has received excellent medical and personal care, wound care, medication management, PT, OT, and offered a wide variety of social activities if she chooses. In a nut shell, the Brixton treats my mom and us like family, and we are so thankful!
My mother has been at the Brixton (10/25) for a short stay, and her care has been very good. Staff is kind and caring, and prompt to answer her call light, and the food is way above average.
I am so impressed with the facility itself- it’s super clean, bright and open, the rooms are large and there are showers in the rooms, instead of having a common shower area.
The most noticeable aspect there is the polite, kind and patient way everyone is treated. From administration, nursing and dietary- everyone takes the time to listen and help. I’ve really appreciated the care my mother has received, and so has she.
