The atmosphere is cheerful. Unit nurses responded in reasonable time and were friendly. The physical and occupational health exercise nurses adapted their work to my needs, and PT was creative in solving a problem. The food was very good - I looked forward to the meals. Aides varied in the way they did their work, some better than others. Language sometimes was a problem

Winchester Nursing Center was a great experience for my family. My 93 year old grandmother fractured both hips and was here for about a month. Despite agitation and confusion through the day and night, the staff worked hard to keep her comfortable and the PT she received was INCREDIBLE - she left here stronger than she was BEFORE the fractures and has regained significant mobility. They also connected us with resources to help plan her long term care upon returning home which was very helpful. Would absolutely recommend this nursing center for rehabilitation, especially for folks with dementia. Thank you Winchester Rehab team!

Two of my family members have stayed at Winchester Rehabilitation and I couldn’t have asked for a better team to take care of them. They were transferred in from the hospital and the admin coordinator, Chelsea, was amazing during the transition. She was friendly and attentive to both family members, as well as provided all the information we needed. Milan, the financial advisor, was amazing at going over the insurance information and the financial options that we needed to review. We visited almost daily while each family member was a patients and the staff was absolutely incredible. Nurses and CRNAs came in multiple times to check in on us to make sure not only their patient was taken care of, but the family members as well. Their food is amazing and the patients are given the choice between a few different options every day, as well as snacks if they chose them. This support and dedication the staff gave to is really made it a pleasant experience for both the patients and the family members.

As a senior living advisor, Winchester Nursing Home is one of the best local nursing home - rehabs. The staff is authentic and warm. The directors leave their office to escort residents to and from lunch. This is a heartwarming solution! The building is always clean, staff retention is great, and the activities are full with engaged residents. 5 out of 5! As I say to the staff, when ny mom needs rehab, she’ll be here.

My mother recently stayed at Winchester Rehabilitation while recovering from pneumonia. She also lives with frontotemporal dementia, so finding a facility that truly understands and supports her needs was incredibly important. After experiencing several other rehabs that were deplorable—unclean, understaffed, and indifferent—we were beyond grateful to discover the remarkable care at Winchester Rehabilitation. From the moment we walked in, the **front desk staff** set the tone with their warmth, friendliness, and genuine compassion. They were always ready for a kind word or cheerful chat, which made visits feel welcoming. Special thanks to **Erika, the director**, whose kindness and helpfulness made navigating this difficult time so much easier. **Deb, the therapy director**, went above and beyond to help us secure a new wheelchair for Mom, showing true dedication to her well-being. We want to give **extra, extra praise to Chrissy, the speech therapist**. Mom adored her—Chrissy’s knowledge, patience, and kindness made therapy sessions something Mom looked forward to, which is no small feat. The **physical therapy team** deserves recognition as well. Mom loved her sessions, and their encouragement made a real difference in her recovery. A special shout-out to the “**snappy dresser**” on the PT team—his great outfits always brought a smile to Mom’s face. During Mom’s stay, my father sadly passed away. The compassion and care shown by the entire staff during that heartbreaking time was extraordinary. They treated us not just as patients and family members, but as people in need of comfort and support. Winchester Rehabilitation is everything a rehab facility should be: clean, well-staffed, and filled with people who truly care. We are deeply grateful for the amazing team that helped Mom heal and supported us through such a difficult chapter.
