No one wants to need rehab or skilled nursing care, but recently my dad required it after a hospital stay. Two nurses at the hospital had very positive things to say about Woldenberg Village. I swung by there after leaving hospital without an appointment. Natasha in admissions took the time to see me right away and gave me a tour. She was very helpful throughout the admission process and made it easy at a difficult time. Over the course of 3 weeks I was in and out daily. The staff was always very nice, the place was immaculately clean and odorless every day. His daytime caregiver, April, was a true gem and he loved her. Bobby the social worker organized his post discharge homecare and necessary equipment. The nursing staff was terrific and even scheduled follow dr. visits and transportation to and from. My dad also was very pleased with the facilty's doctor, Dr. Powell who never seemed rushed and took pleanty of time with him. There were lots of labs that were done regularly to monitor his improvement. The laundry was done nicely and returned to his room neatly on hangers. I wish i could mention each caring person by name. His speech, OT and physical therapy helped to get his strength back and get him back home safe and sound. He is continuing to improve just in time for his 90th birthday. Very grateful for this place and everyone there. Would not hesitate to use them again if ever needed.

I recently considered this place for skilled nursing/therapy for my mom following hip/femur surgery. I toured this place with only 5 minutes notice on 2 occasions! Natasha was ever so kind to show me around. The therapists as well. The place was clean and appeared very well staffed with much going on. Although we chose another place due to a closer location for my mom’s dog to visit, I would not hesitate to pick Woldenberg. My only concern was getting a private room which I am sure everyone wants. I do wish the rooms were less hospital like, but that seems true of most of these places. While on my second visit, I spoke with a lady whose mother was 100 when she first arrived at Woldenberg. Her mom had been there 3 times and would now be staying there. She said it was the best of the places for all things considered. I valued her opinion since she repeatedly brought her mother there. Should our circumstances not work out I would not hesitate to phone Natasha in admissions. Thank you Natasha!

My family member has been a resident of Willow Wood for the past two years as she suffered a stroke and has dementia. I visit her regularly and am very pleased with her care as well as the facility itself. She is always clean (as is her room), is properly cared for and looked after, and she eats well. I was her primary caretaker prior to the transition to Willow Wood and as is true for most people, the decision weighed on me. From the moment, I toured the facility and met the staff, however, I was put at ease as they facilitated what could be an intimidating process. I appreciated their welcome. The staff who are in daily contact are a huge help to my family member as well as to me. I am consistently impressed with their patience, kindness, and care. Without hesitation, I am happy to recommend Woldenberg.
