My husband and I moved into a 1 bedroom unit in March 2024. We compared the cost of continuing to live in our home, with all the upkeep, taxes, insurance, etc., to the cost of living here. It was actually less expensive to move here! All our meals are provided as well as weekly housekeeping. The staff are very professional and friendly. We have made many new friends here. The meals are good with lots of variety plus there is a pantry where you can stop by and get a snack 24/7. You also have a full size kitchen if you wish to cook. Plus a full size washer and dryer! The seated shower is the perfect size. There are lots of activities to choose from, onsite as well as offsite. They offer transportation within a 10 mile radius. There is a pharmacy and hair salon on site, plus a fitness center. Our doctor's offices are right across the street, Kroger is within walking distance. There is a waiting list so don't wait too long to come for a visit.

I enjoy living at Willow Pines. The staff are wonderful. The Lifestyle Director is great. She plans many wonderful excursions. The fitness center is great and we have wonderful exercise classes. If your interest is playing cards or doing puzzles, those are available along with many other things to keep you busy. I would have given 5 stars, but I feel the food could be better and more nutritious. Some days the food is better than other days, but overall I think there could be an improvement in the food.

In February we moved my 95 year old father to the Willow Pines Retirement Community. It is not only a well maintained complex, but the amenities for its residents are endless. Everything is included in the monthly rent… an alert necklace, WiFi, cable, a weekly cleaning of your apartment … to name a few. There are endless activities that residents can choose from to participate in. As far as the food goes, it is delicious. There are always at least two entrees to choose from at every daily meal and if you get hungry in the middle of the night you can head down to the pantry and grab a sandwich or snacks or some fruit. Food is available for residents 24/7. For those individuals that need it, home care and physical therapy are available. Both of the companies that provide these state top notch. Finally, I couldn’t praise the staff more. Any time my dad has had a problem, they take immediate action to fix it. My dad loves his new home. He has made many friends. I would highly recommend Willow Pines. It is a wonderful retirement option.

A Personal Reflection on Life at Willow Pines Resident since January 22, 2024 Since moving to Willow Pines, my wife and I have had a truly wonderful experience. We’ve met so many kind and welcoming people, and we feel fortunate to be part of such a caring community. The staff here are exceptional: - Billie & Eric Schroder – Community Managers: Their dedication to residents is clear in everything they do. They genuinely care about the people who live here, and it shows. - Erin Maten – Lifestyle Director: Erin organizes an incredible range of activities—far too many to list! Just take a look inside the monthly newsletter to see how vibrant and engaging life is here. - Rhonda Smith – Lead Concierge: Always positive and professional, Rhonda is a pleasure to interact with and sets a high standard for service. - Amy Petrucci – Senior Living Consultant: Amy is constantly busy showing prospective residents around the community. Her energy and warmth make a great first impression. - Chef & Dining Room Supervisor: They keep the kitchen running smoothly and ensure that meals are consistently well-prepared and enjoyable. - Kevin Sparks – Maintenance: Kevin goes above and beyond. In addition to handling repairs, he helps many residents with their TVs and other devices—especially those who aren’t sure how to operate them. - Second & Third Shift Concierges: Also excellent—friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. - Steve Swanson – Shuttle Driver: Steve is incredibly helpful, taking residents to doctor appointments, banks, hospitals, drugstores, and stores from Costco to CVS. He’s great with wheelchairs and knows the area well. This is just a snapshot of our experience, but it reflects the warmth, professionalism, and care that define Willow Pines. We’re grateful to be here. Sincerely, Jack Morgan
