The facility was beautifully decorated for Christmas and the staff created a festive environment as we sang Christmas songs together. The residents were not shy about joining in on some of their favorite traditional Christmas songs.

I have a client that lives there and I see her three times a week. I can tell you from my experience and being in the industry that the staff is all very wonderful, loving and helpful<br>The caregivers are very patient and super nice!<br>The food has even improved with the new chef my client is thrilled about that!

I can’t say enough good things about Truewood by Merrill. From the moment we walked in, it felt like more than just a nursing home it felt like a community that truly cares. The staff go above and beyond for their residents, treating everyone with genuine kindness, patience, and respect. You can tell that every nurse, caregiver, and staff member takes pride in what they do. They don’t just provide care they take the time to get to know each resident and make them feel seen and valued. That kind of compassion can’t be faked, and it makes all the difference. The facility is always clean, warm, and welcoming, and the atmosphere feels peaceful and comforting. Knowing my loved one is in a place where they’re treated like family gives me so much peace of mind.
