My mom was here over 4 years. The Hospice nurse told me ..when I was touring nursing homes...that White Oak Manor was old but they take good care of the residents . And WOW...do they ever!! The staff has become my family. I have never had ANY complaints. The food is delicious! The activities are many and joyful. I felt such relief knowing my mom was well taken care of.

We have had mom at White Oak Manor for three months now and we couldn’t be more satisfied with the treatment and care she is receiving. Having had her at another facility closer to home for over a year, where the standard of care left much to be desired, when I walked into White Oak I was immediately impressed with how clean and well kept it is. After a tour of the facility and introduction to the staff and program of care, I felt strongly that the distance would be worth giving it a try. Both myself and my family have not been disappointed. Whereas before we were having to care for her clothes, provide her with appealing and edible food, and constantly attend to her care, which at times was appallingly substandard, now we are confident that she is well cared for. What a huge relief. The high standard of care reflected in the appearance of the facility, is even more evident in the professionalism and dedication of the staff. Thank you, White Oak Manor.

The dietary department is the worst! All they are concerned about is appearance and money. Not the great experience and nutrition that they could offer to their much deserved residents. My most detailed thought at the moment, is how the can opener blade must be clean for DHEC. I pray every day for better care, comfort, and understanding for these precious residents. It is a sad situation. I worked there 4 years ago and it still haunts me.

We LOVE White Oak! We recently had to move my grandmother into the facility and they have been nothing but helpful and kind. I feel safe with her being there in such good hands. I would recommend them to anyone!
