White Birch is the absolute best! My mom was one of the very first residents in the memory care unit when it opened. . She was a resident for 9 years. I can’t say enough about the wonderful care she received during her time in Sycamore Haven. The staff became family and they were so attentive and caring. In the last days of her life, I never left her room. The care and compassion extended not only to her, but to myself and my family was nothing short of amazing. The funeral director who cared for mom, told us he had been in a lot of facilities, but he had never experienced such compassion and care from the staff who prepared her for her next journey. If you are looking for a place that will provide all of the comforts of home along with top notch care, White Birch is the place to go.

My family had an excellent experience with White Birch. The facility is very clean and spacious. They have a nice sunroom and courtyard to enjoy the outdoors. The staff are very caring and patient. We felt our relative was well taken care of 24/7. The staff are excellent at communicating with families about their loved ones' health and wellbeing.

Last year, my mom developed an extreme case of Shingles. After spending 3 weeks in a traditional nursing home, we decided to move her to White Birch Communities. We realized we made a great decision from the moment we met Mandy the owner. She promised to take care of my mom and proved over the last year that she and her staff could do just that. My mom was cared for, her needs were met, and she made friends with many of the staff members. She always shared that some of the girls there were "jewels" and that they were deserving of her highest praise. From a visiting son's perspective, I found it VERY convenient to visit. It's all on one floor and once parked, i can be inside within a minute. We are thankful for the care White Birch provided and would recommend to anyone their services. Chuck Williams

I work as a hospice volunteer and recently had a resident from this facility placed on our services. I am a retired hospice nurse but needed to still make a difference by way of volunteering for hospice. This facility amazed me the first time I stepped through the front door. The staff is so friendly and the building is so clean. As I looked around, I noticed all the residents were clean and the men were all clean shaven. Being a prior director of nurses at a similar type of facilty in Florida, I particularly look at these things. The residents are always engaged in some activity every time I go see my patient. No boredom at this facility. I had to ring my patient's bell a couple of times to have someone come and help her. The turn around time to answer was, again, amazing. It is very obvious to me that this is a very well run facility with very caring staff. I would highly recommend White Birch to anyone that is looking to place a loved one in a safe and caring environment!
