For the first two nights of Mom’s stay, pebbles were strewn across her room for her to step on. On the second night she did step on them and broke her ankle. When I arrived her foot was discolored and swollen. They had her sitting in a wheelchair, her ankle was not elevated, it was not iced, and she had been given NOTHING for pain. When I complained, the nurse said, “Just because you want her to have pain meds, doesn’t mean she gets them.” I was told the pebbles were collected from the employee parking lot. So, an employee wanted to hurt my Mom. I announced if they didn’t call for an ambulance immediately, I would. We never returned. RH Acute Care was A+ and I highly recommend them. Beware of Westminster.

Notice the management won’t comment even though Mom was horrendously handled. Stay away.
