If I could give negative stars I would! Avid this facility like the plague. My mother recently got out and moved closer to me . But in her 9 months stay . Her necklace was stollen with my brothers ashes . Her clothes were constantly stolen or lost. She got into a physical fight with another patient. Nothing was properly done. They moved her to the other side of the facility and let the other lady get away with assault.I was told that they would write me a check which I have yet to receive with the stolen goods. She was a fall risk that would end up in the hospital a lot . Every time I visited the facility, it had a strong smell of urine, no matter what wing you walk down. Nurses we ok , social services , waste of time . The rooms are out dated . You can’t send a package without it going missing or stolen. I physically brought a hand full of medicine to the nurse practitioner . After moving my mom’s stuff so that means the nurses are not watching them take their meds. I’m sure there are better facilities in the area.

I would go back there again for rehab. All of the staff is very friendly. Not like other places I have been. My CNA during the weekdays Chanice (hope my spelling is correct) is the best. If you get her you are really lucky! Please recommend to anyone you know that needs rehab. One last thing SU is the best dressed.

We had a unique experience as my mom was coming from out of county and was short term after a fall, but let me tell you the experience from day 1 was amazing! Jen in admissions was so helpful and so caring, all the CNA's, Marie, Sandy, there were a couple others and I can't remember their names, and the RN's were amazing and made sure my mom was well taken care of, therapy was great as well! Areas were clean and well kept, no bad smells (like in other rehabs), common areas were nice and check in was always so kind, food was okay but that's to be expected. This will be our second stay at a rehab and this far exceeded my expectations and I am so glad we choose WM Health and Rehab, put all my worries to rest while she was there!

I really loved my stay at west melbourne, the staff was absolutely awsum very professional and extremely knowledgeable. I made sure after each of my surgeries that I would return to West Melbourne Health and Rehab. I've been to a few other places but none of them stacked up to the folks at West Melbourne some of the new places were new and pretty but there staff was not there at heart. At West Melbourne there staff was absolutely wonderful they were very caring and extremely friendly always there to help, I received the best rehabilitation on my legs, the PT rehab coach Andre was very knowledgeable and very professional and very caring, as were the OP rehab coaches, I received the best care ever. I'm usually not one to write but I will gladly write when I had an above average experience somewhere, and I really had one at West Melbourne Health and Rehab, it really was a blessing I found them!!

My sister Gloria came here after being in the hospital. We were worried at first but after couple of days stay and met the staff, we felt at ease. They were all very helpful and always there for her, very friendly and wonderful. To mention some of the staff like Debbie, Scott, Bill, Barbara, Pam and others who she cannot remember the names. She said they were all very caring, very hard workers. She is very thankful to the CNA who gave her a shower, she cannot remember the name. She was very satisfied with the meals served at the Rehab. With regards to the Business Office Staff, I can say they were very approachable, coordinated and willing to help the family to ease with the paper works necessary. To mention the staff, we met like Marsha, Linda, Kristin. I will recommend West Melbourne Health and Rehabilitation Center to anybody who needs the services you offer. Thank you for everything you have done to my sister.
