Hello, my name is Jimmy Brown. I came here from the hospital because I fell. I came here for therapy. I said oh boy one of those places well I did not expect what happened. This place deserves not five stars. They deserve 500 stars. The staff is excellent they’re right there if you need them. Also, the patients are very kind. They treat the patients. Unbelievable. I have never ever seen a place like this. I have traveled all over the world as an entertainer and I’ve seen a lot of places as an entertainer, I would recommend this place for anybody who needs any kind of rehab or anything to go here. My name is Jimmy Brown and I would recommend that they are the best of the best.

This has to be the worst place to have your elder loved one in staff is very lax , caught one who was supposed to be tending to my mom in her car smoking weed , asked the head nurse and was told she was on break but left my mom sitting in her soiled garments for two hours ( didn’t know there were things as two hour lunch breaks) DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!! Will be sending the pictures to the family lawyer and proceed from there

Wedgwood Gardens is the perfect place for specialized care, when treatment is required for your family and loved ones. In addition to offering social activities for patients, Wedgwood Gardens provides therapeutic psychological counseling and physical therapy as well. In addition, Nurse Lily, Jayson, both Chelseas, Mike, Chris, the Doctors, the entire staff of the physical therapy unit , and so many others, all provide the very best of care to their patients and are clearly devoted to their professions. I am very grateful to all of them for the care they have given to me, and appreciate their support to help me return to living a healthy and happy life.

Everyone is very nice but I would like to be left alone. I'm only here to get IV medicine twice a day but certain people might think I'm like 90 years old, asking me constantly if I need wheelchairs, asking me constantly if I need physical therapy.. I am independent I'm walking around the hallways several times a day. Recently I was trying to take a nap but every 15 minutes somebody would come to see how I was doing. . If I wanted help I would call the call bell. Or walk down to the front desk.... I don't deal with social workers either none of anybody's business about my home life. Just here to get meds, not to be badgered Update. About 230 today I wanted to take a nap but noticed my sheets and blankets were dirty . I paged and eventually someone came in and threw just one blanket on a chair .not changing sheets or bringing anything else then someone told me they can only change the sheets when someone takes a shower. No one even told me we have showers here....p anyway it is now an hour and 45 minutes later. And still have not received fresh and sheets and blankets . There is a lot of " we will get someone" but not any doing around here. So much for my nap. At 6:30 Thursday morning, while I was in a REM sleep , an aid rushed into my room just to give me water which I already hadv three of already.. so 15 minutes later when I was dozing off again I was in a bad mood, to be walking up again to be asked if I needed help emptying out my nephrostomy tubes I have told about seven people that I can do it myself. . When the tech came in later on he told me that I refused to have the nurse look at my tubes. Which was a total lie. She never asked to look at it she only asked if I needed help emptying it. Monday update. For the second time they brought me lunch without bringing me a drink with it and bringing me the wrong side. They said they were out of it. It would be common sense instead of bringing no drink at all to ask if I wanted something different . I went down to the station and they got me different drinks fast enough , unlike the other day when the blond main person at the nurses station told me she texted the kitchen twice, rather than walking for getting someone to walk for 50 ft to get me a drink, and dressing for my salad. no joke I waited 45 minutes, unable to eat my food.. I mean if they don't have something, tell me, common courtesy Saturday update, things get dumber if possible. I asked if I could take a shower, which I have taken three times before by myself with no one in there. Lily tells me we don't shower on weekends here. And even if I did shower, I will need someone in there with me which I certainly didn't need the first three times.. ridiculous I could fall she said. yes and the ceiling could fall down on me. Finally I had enough of this nonsense, and grabbed my stuff and walk towards the shower. They let me in although that didn't stop Lily from opening the door and checking on me while I was showering. Very embarrassing, they have to stop treating me like I'm an invalid. Also, Lily, after assuring me that I will get out early on Sunday after my last IV in the morning she's now telling me that she has nothing to do with that and she won't be my nurse on Sunday morning And lastly, after Lily assured me that she would come in and change my nephrostomy bags before I left. No one ever did in a day later I ended up in the hospital need my bag exchanged because it was all wet and leaky. Which resort already started while I was at Wedgewood

Nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff at Wedgwood (shout out to Melanie and Debbie the Social Directors, Nurse Lily, Joanna, Ibrahim, Jessica and Chelsea; and sorry if I missed anyone). My mother-in-law recently received care at the facility after being hospitalized. Despite her continued decline due to age and illnesses leading to a move to hospice care, the entire staff consistently provided compassion, comfort and care while also displaying empathy towards our family. They provided regular updates on her condition and options on how to proceed with her on-going needs. They facilitated daily FaceTime calls so her family could talk with her each day since we couldn’t be there in person. We couldn’t have asked for more and highly recommend this rehabilitation facility.
