Atrocious experience with them. Lots of staff don't speak English and ignore you. Constant call lights go ignored for people who need their prescriptions or care. When discharged you're pretty much fed to the wolves with nothing explained and nothing actually setup for you. The physical therapy department is a joke too. I was there for 3 weeks and spent a total of 25 minutes divided between 3 separate physical therapy appointments. One for 5 minutes, one for 15 and another for 5 minutes. I bet they charged my insurance for hours. I heard and seen nightmares at this place I can't mention without them knowing exactly who I am.

Went to see my mother who is in rehab , today . Happen to be there when her PT came in . He proceeded to tell my sister and I they needed AAA yesterday to get her out of bed . I didn't know what he meant , I asked what is that ? He said you know a tow truck . I couldn't believe he said that I didn't know what to say ,but I am sure he saw the look on my face . My mother is a large woman ,but that was totally uncalled for .He's supposed to be caring and professional? Her other therapist is wonderful his name is Jay he is very caring and understanding from what I have seen .That is the only reason I gave it 3 stars . Today was the first time I saw this other supposed therapist . No wonder there are so many bad reviews. When you have people like this working there . She has slight dementia, and hard of hearing so the comment went over her head thankfully. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Twice we went there and her remote was no where to be found today her glasses were missing. They told us they would look around for them . How does that happen ? Hopefully she will be back to her home soon .

I would NEVER allow a loved one to be treated there.. This place should be be closed down!!!!! There was no clean beds due to a water break??? I was given the wrong medication at times. .Most of the employees have a language barrier. The physical therapy team was the best part of the place. I hope they find a better place to work. Saw a doctor once. At my request I was taken out of there and brought to Walpole health Care. Best place ever!! Don't be surprised if Wedgemere closes down for good!!

Mother was here a week. Left in a wheelchair for hours when she requested to go to bed, they tossed her legs onto the bed once they eventually DID help her. Left dehydrated and looking worse than ever. She had no real space of her own, her room mate was given all the storage space (4 wardrobes plus) and she only had one side table to the far corner. The television (her only real form of entertainment) was left on said table, unplugged and out of her way. They couldn't move it because the other Room mates 4th wardrobe was placed where that would normally be. They were unconcerned when her blood sugar hit 46 (very low) instead of seeming proactive. They apparently gave her meds that according to her she had just taken earlier. The staff (apart from their case manager) all seemed very indifferent towards patients. Food looked like the worst possible hospital food you've ever seen (that's saying something). I'd be less concerned if she left there in better condition for rehab than she came into it, as LifeCare in raynham had done considerably.

My father in law was here for a year and they were amazing to him. Everyone treated him with kindness and respect. He liked everyone there also. I have absolutely no complaints about Wedgemere at all. They did a great job taking care of him. Whenever I asked a question, they did all they could to get me the answer if they didn't know it.
