UPDATED: Added one more staff member's name to the praise list! We moved a loved one into Wealshire of Medina in July. It was an unplanned move that came sooner than we expected. We stumbled upon Wealshire, toured it in June, and knew it was the right place for our loved one. Aiden and Elizabeth were instrumental in helping us expedite finding a room. We have been very pleased with the entire experience. Everyone that we encounter is extremely pleasant and helpful. They understand the common behaviors and challenges that dementia and Alzheimer's present, and everyone is very kind, patient, and flexible. They've seen it all before and are really trying to respect each resident as an individual. Wealshire has been very communicative, notifying us of major changes or concerns without overburdening us with minor items. Also, they have been very responsive whenever we've reached out with a question or concern. Everyone at Wealshire is approachable and willing to help, including the president, Cory, who worked with us when we had some technology issues. The front desk staff, Ruth, Emma, Marla, and others, are so welcoming and friendly and greet everyone with a smile! The nurses and staff in the building are too many to mention by name, but they are all so kind and caring. However, I do need to point out Miranda, one of the nursing supervisors. She has been so caring, attentive, quick to provide updates, and careful in considering changes to care. You can see she genuinely cares for the residents and wants what's best for them and for them to live their best lives! I am so happy we found Wealshire and would highly recommend it.
