I have been a nurse for over 20 years. In that time I have worked as a hospice nurse. I have been all over the state of Minnesota visiting patients and all different kinds of facilities.I have never been to a place like Parks Place memory care. The environment is very welcoming. It’s beautiful and it feels like somebody’s home. Their staff is exceptional. Everyone from the nurses to the activities Director to the to the home health aides. One word to describe this magical place is outstanding. Staff keep all their memory care residents engaged in activities throughout the day. None of their residents are sitting in their bedrooms all alone. Their resident to staff ratio is amazing. I’ve never seen anything like it. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. it is really a blessing to have Parks Place in Minnesota.

I feel as though I was discriminated against for having mental health disabilities. Said they could not meet my level of cares but refuse to explain further and said they don't have to.

We are very happy with Parks’ Place Memory Care as a patient and family. The staff works together and cohesively and there is enough staff for needs. We feel our LO is well cared for. Activities are scheduled from 7:30 am through 7:30 pm! There are several activities leaders all day. The TV is large enough for all to see and plays nature videos with different genres of music during meals. TV is the 7:30 pm activity at night. There is a media room for movies and small group music. The space is lovely and versatile and includes a four season porch which is used for exercises, special events, church, and more. Outdoors has plenty of seating and shaded areas. Lovely.
We actually were at a different facility before and our LO has had a marked improvement in the past few weeks. He is more alert and content.

My parents are both 95, married for 75 years and have been here for 6 months now. They love it! The posted picture is of them, this week, dining together in the dining room at Parks Place. I had my parents at a different 5 star facility in Rogers, MN and moved them because I was so disappointed with their care.
I can't say enough good things about PARK PLACE MEMORY CARE. They are hands down the best Memory Care Center in the State of Minnesota. The history of it's creation is beautiful and inspiring, the private owner, Karen is on site daily. The facility is architecturally breathtaking inside and out with great attention to aesthetics, detail and functionality. There are many large windows with beautiful views, a huge sunroom and outdoor areas and ample parking. The pricing is structured and transparent with no surprises!

ALL of the staff are extraordinary; professional, well trained, detail oriented, loving and attentive to every need no matter how great or small. There's a high staff to resident ratio. The communication is outstanding from administration to the care providers and safety and sanitation are paramount. A wonderful and efficient Hospice program and many other adjunct therapies are available to meet a large variety of needs.

The activities programs are fun, interactive, comprehensive, extensive and residents are encouraged to participate daily. The atmosphere is calm, peaceful and loving with lots of joy and happiness There are hosted events for every holiday for families to participate in. Friends and family are welcome anytime for events, meals or just a fun visit. There are several special event areas where families can get together for birthdays, anniversaries or any special holiday. The food is 5 star and customized to the residents needs. My hats off to the chef for delivering 3 outstanding meals everyday and for special events. There's even a hair salon so the residents always look their best!

I can't say enough good things about Parks Place. I trust them to care for the lives of the two most important people in my life. Thank you for making the last season of their lives together so rich and beautiful!

Our mom was a resident at Parks’ Place for 4 years and was happy and content. She was engaged with the wide variety of activities that were modified for individuals cognitive abilities. It was a comfort knowing the staff worked hard to build community through activities and events. Our mom had “best friends” and enjoyed daily connection.
