Zero stars if I could!!! NEVER, NEVER, NEVER put your loved one in memory care at Okalee of Medina. Our loved one was in there for three years with such poor and negligent care. The nursing staff turned over at least eleven times in the three years she was there. Communication is poor across the board.. She fell many times and some we were never notified. She was rarely checked on when she locked herself in her room for hours. Why they have locks on the memory care rooms boggles my mind. So many unanswered questions. Such poor, poor management!!!

I would like to say I am not pleased with this place they don't do what they are supposed to do as a RN, HR or any position higher the DON AKA Quinn talks to others disrespectfully even some of the caregivers don't care enough to do their jobs they don't show any appreciation towards the ones that actually do their job and I have witnessed it she is not professional in any way she puts on a show for the families but trust me she's not nice at all neither is the Lpn Anne nobody who works there is professional so if your looking for a place to bring your loved ones for proper care and staff that will take good care of them or them to be in a safe environment Okalee is not the right place.

In searching for the right senior living option for my mother, I toured several facilities - many of which felt like large, impersonal complexes surrounded by parking lots. From the moment I arrived at Okalee, it felt different. The smaller, home-like setting nestled in a natural environment immediately stood out, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff went out of their way to introduce my mother to other residents, and the friendly, genuine energy was evident throughout. As a daughter, I wanted a place where my mother would feel happy, respected, and treated with the dignity she deserves - and I found that at Okalee. From her comfortable apartment to the variety of activities and outings offered, Okalee has exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality senior care in a truly caring environment.

Okalee is a wonderful place! The staff, management and residents are all very friendly. There are many opportunities for activities, and the facility and grounds are beautiful! I always looked forward to visiting my mom at Okalee.
