Very disappointing. The facility was better back in the early 2000's. Unfortunately, in recent years things have gone way down hill. Patients are not taken care of properly, and often ignored. Staff does not respond to emails and voicemail. High staff turn over rate and facility is unkempt. Patients are given showers once a week or less, we had asked several times for my parent to receive important screenings, none of which ever happened. Medical records are not accurate, billing department is dysfunctional and then blames the family when the payments aren't being paid timely. Many payments were lost by the facility and then "found" weeks and months later. Billing amounts are all over the place. I would not recommend bringing a loved one to this facility.

The only reason I gave this dump 1 star was because there are some lovely people that worked there. However, after what I experienced with my brother is gross negligence. It was the decsion of the Dr. and social worker that he was competent. He was diagnosed with frontal temporal dementia. He was not able to take care of himself.. They felt he could. I was his POA. No one would talk to me. The day I picked him up he had a plastic bag with 13 sleeves of medications....??? I frantically had to reach out to organizations to reach out for help. I can't imagine patients that don't have an advocate have to face. Shameful, disgusting, gross. My brother has passed, he was only 64. If this is the best as a state or a country we can do we are all screwed. Terrible!!!

My 58 y/o partner, Michael, has been at Watertown Rehab and Nursing for two weeks since leaving the hospital after a spinal cord injury. Watertown was the only rehab to accept him because of his insurance. We weren't expecting much of the facility but have been pleasantly surprised! All the staff on the floor will answer our questions, get supplies we request, show us where things are located etc. Everyone is friendly yet professional. Management has been available to me when I've had a need that had to be addressed by them. The food is much better than expected. Michael sees PT and OT frequently. There's a big room where they have activities or movies all day for those who wish to join. I can't say enough about Watertown Rehab and Nursing.
