My 97 (was 95 at the time) mother moved into the independent living building two years ago. We picked this place as it seemed nice and she had two friends living there. We lucked out when she moved in as they had a room on the first floor near the dinning room. It had low counters which is a great thing for my vertically challenged Mom (shes 4'7"). It has a great view of the courtyard. She has made a lot of friends and it seems that everyone there knows her. The place looked a little worn but just recently they upgraded the interior and it looks fantastic. The people at the front desk, especially William, are extremely helpful whenever my Mom needs assistance. This is very gratifying for my siblings as the closest is 30 mins away with the rest of us being 1 & 1/2, 2 hrs and out of state. We feel very comfortable that she is being well taken care of and there help for her if she ever needs it. Oh, there are lots of activities for her and she LOVES bingo!

The staff here is Amazing!!!! From Ashley and Kenny who assisted with the walk through and move in process, William and Erin who manage the day to day happenings of the IL apartments. To Pat the transportation and hug specialist. Everyone here is wonderful, truly caring, kind and make you feel like family. My mom was a bit apprehensive about selling her home and moving but when walked her through she was excited. All she speaks of now is how much she loves it here and so happy that I found this place. Thank you William amd team for making my mom comfortable and looking out for her when I cannot be there. Your hearts are enormous! Karen

Waltonwood has welcomed my Mom with open arms. Thank you Ashley for being so kind and many smiles, and thank you to the entire staff. Everyone is so kind and helpful. My Mom really enjoys the activities and dining experience. Great place for seniors.

My mom Rose is a resident at Waltonwood Carriage Park and I would like to thank all of the staff for taking such good care of my mom. Nicole and Sara are the greatest. They are always looking after my mom to make sure she is comfortable. When ever shes needs someone to talk to they are there for her. She always smiles when they come to visit her. During these times dealing with Covid it is very nice to know when we as children can not see her every day that there are people like Nicole and Sara taking care of my mom. Thank you so much!

I can’t say enough of this Place! My mom has been there over two years and the care she’s been getting is exemplary! She has been to other places but I feel that this is the best place. The director and concierge always go out of their way for me. The caregivers are more than just caregivers -they show loving concern for my mom who is in hospice. The activity directors always try to keep mom involved and you can see they also love the residents . There is always some type of activity they can do with others.From the cleaning ladies to the maintenance staff, the cafeteria servers , caring nursing staff, chef , bus drivers and anyone else I failed to mention- To me this is a little place of heaven on earth for my mom. I can’t thank Dustin and his staff enough. During this pandemic I have felt mom has been in the best place possible. God bless you Carriage Park!🙏❤️
