I have been very happy with the care my mother is receiving at Walnut Ridge. The staff is wonderful. They are very kind and loving to the residents. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a home for your loved one.

We are so pleased with the staff at Walnut Ridge. My husband and I had cared for his mother at home for 10 years, 6 of those with dementia. It was hard to find a place for her until we were introduced to Walnut Ridge and Katie and Courtney. She has been there 3 1/2 months now and the staff in the MCU are AWESOME for her and us. They keep us informed about her needs, ideas that will help her and the things that are hot working so well. It is a great partnership, Thank you so much!!!!

We placed my Dad in two different acute care homes for rehab after a stroke, and I literally wanted to cry; they were so bad. Then I visited Walnut Ridge, where Katie and Courtney worked with me. Both were totally honest and transparent regarding the process and type of care. Immediately, I had a calming experience as they explained, in words that I could understand, what they could offer. It wasn’t a sales pitch. I felt like they were actually putting patient care above a sale. Katie was awesome at explaining the differences in facilities: acute, assisted, and long-term. Michelle, head of nursing, and Nikki, the care coordinator, have kept me updated with any medical information regarding Dad. The staff has been awesome as well. Stacy, the driver for appointments, was also a huge help, as she scheduled several appointments for Dad at the Kernersville VA. She goes to the appointment and gathers the results for us. They have done everything that we asked for. We are sooo at ease now that Dad is at Walnut Ridge.

Came to visit our mother, grandmother and great grandmother. As a nurse and director, I am so happy she is here. The staff were exceptional. Warm greetings, attentive, and always willing to talk and inform the family of any progress or problems. Her room was beautiful and I love that they encourage socializing with the other residents. I’ve seen many assisted living facilities but I was throughly impressed. Our grandma seems adjusted and comfortable.

New to the Walnut Ridge Family, bringing our Aunt here. My sister and I both have been pleasantly surprised at how smooth the staff has made this transition for us. Angie Bailey has been a blessing in helping us, she has made the process easier and been such a sympathetic listener. She has given us the support we so needed in making this decision. The facility is so clean and welcoming, and all the staff we have met has been friendly and helpful. We hope that this will be a pleasant “home away from home” for our Aunt.
