About Vivante Newport Center

Vivante Newport Center is an assisted living community in Newport Beach, California that combines luxury residential living with comprehensive senior care. The community provides well-appointed residences ranging from one- to two-bedroom floor plans with premium finishes, in-home appliances, and many units featuring ocean views and private balconies or terraces.

Healthcare services are delivered through a formal partnership with Hoag Hospital, offering on-site medical care including doctor visits, physical and occupational therapy, neurological evaluation, and post-hospitalization rehabilitation through the VIVAH program. Residents benefit from a full-time medical staff providing proactive routine care, palliative care services, and coordination with specialists, reducing the need for off-site medical appointments and skilled nursing placement.

The community emphasizes wellness through the Vitality Program, developed in partnership with California State University Long Beach's Department of Gerontology. This structured 8-week program focuses on physical, nutritional, cognitive, and mental wellness through activities including dance, water aerobics, music, brain fitness games, and educational lectures on topics such as diabetes prevention and skin cancer awareness. Residents receive baseline health assessments and track improvements throughout the program.

Dining experiences include the fine dining restaurant Provence, casual Café Gourmand, The Nightcap cocktail bar, and themed dining events such as Chophouse Friday and rotating Vitality Program meals celebrating world cuisines. The Riviera private dining room accommodates family gatherings and celebrations with custom catering options. Additional amenities include an art studio with pottery facilities, in-house cinema, Ciao Bella salon offering hair, nails, skincare and massage services, outdoor Piazza with wood-fired pizza oven and recreational activities, and the Players Club featuring billiards and games.

Terrible business practice, Ivonne and Edith are highly unprofessional. I’ve yet to get ahold of Sharon Gerkin. If I could give them negative stars I would. Please reconsider doing business with this place.

My parents lived at Vivanti for many years. , My Dad was asked to leave the resort because they did not want to deal with the disability, and he was seeing doctors set up by Vivanti to help him. I am very disappointed with Vivante and I have since learned that he is not the only one to be asked to leave. For the amount of Money they charge, close to about 30,000. dollars a month, you would think they would do better. It is my opinion is that they are all about the money. They continually raise their prices. It is very nice and the people there are great but there are many better choices that are just as nice but about 30% less. My parents went to Atria and not only is it great, but they are much easier to work with. The business off at Vivanti would not work with me when it comes to my parent's long-term care, but Atria does, saving them close to 7000.00 dollars per month. With the insurance money they can now use and the difference in price, they are saving close to 15000.00 dollars a month. Please look at all choices before committing to them.

I’ve been at Vivante a little more than a month and let me tell you I didn’t know places like this existed. The attention to detail is incredible and the medical focus is amazing. Although not the cheapest place around it’s definitely the best. BTW Food is terrific. Thanks Vivante, Tony Bailey

We have visited twice for about two hours each time. The staff is very friendly, efficient and kind. Visitors are welcome! Our friend, who is a resident in memory care, enjoys the surroundings and participates in many activities. The residents appear happy and the facility is top notch— sparkling clean. Reminds me of a 5 star hotel.

The staff and the whole experience of Vivante is nothing short of luxury. Their community is BEAUTIFUL, state of the art, and like living at a resort. Very happy with everything Vivante has to offer my grandmother, I will definitely be visiting!
